No one is ever sure whether the Jeep Compass is a compact or subcompact SUV, which makes it just the right size for buyers who need something small-ish. It’s long been known for off-road skills rare in its class, and an easy-to-use infotainment system. But its rugged nature means it lacks the refinement of a Honda HR-V or Hyundai Kona.
None of that will change for 2025. In fact, we struggle to find any difference between the 2024 and 2025 Compass. Jeep has announced just two changes: The model will drop its high-end Latitude Lux trim right away. Later in the year, Jeep says it will add an exterior color choice called Joose.
Yes, Joose. No, we don’t know what color Joose is. Jeep didn’t explain or provide a photo. We’ve asked for details and will let you know if Jeep brings us some Joose.
The lack of changes is likely a sign that the Compass is in for a major update soon. Industry scuttlebutt says to expect an all-new Compass, perhaps with hybrid power, for the 2026 model year.
2025 Jeep Compass Pricing
All prices include a mandatory $1,595 destination fee. Prices have increased very slightly from 2024 levels. Most trim levels see a bump of $270 or less.
The lack of major changes for the 2025 model year, however, leads to a simple piece of shopping advice – interested shoppers should look at 2024 models on the lot before paying a higher price for a 2025 model with no major improvements.
Trim Level | MSRP + Destination Charge |
Sport | $27,495 |
Latitude | $31,865 |
Limited | $35,540 |
Trailhawk | $35,760 |
