The Honda Ridgeline isn’t entirely new for 2024 but received an update more substantial than the facelift we usually see at the halfway point of a car’s production run. The updates come with a surprisingly small price bump. The 2024 Ridgeline will start at $39,750 — just $950 more than last year’s base model.
Exterior changes include a reshaped grille and “RIDGELINE” stamped boldly across the dual-action tailgate that drops like a conventional tailgate or opens like a door to help you reach deeper into the bed.
Inside, a new look includes a standard digital instrument cluster instead of old-fashioned gauges for the driver. A larger, 9-inch touchscreen handles entertainment and information functions and runs more straightforward software that sends users through fewer menus to accomplish most tasks.
A new center console gives more storage, and the wireless charging pad can now accommodate two phones side-by-side.
Honda also adds a rugged Trailsport trim to the Ridgeline lineup for 2024. It rides on grippier all-terrain General Grabber A/T Sport tires sprung by a new off-road-tuned suspension. Steel underbody protection lets you venture further off the trail.
The i-VTM4 torque-vectoring all-wheel drive (AWD) system can reroute power away from slipping wheels and has modes for sand, snow, mud, and commuting on a nice, smooth blacktop.
