America’s best-selling vehicle improved recently. But better costs more. Ford has revealed pricing for the 2024 version of the F-150 pickup, and prices are up by at least four figures at every trim level.
The 2024 F-150 isn’t an entirely new model. It’s what the auto industry calls a midcycle refresh — a significant update at the halfway point of a new design’s run.
The headline-maker for the new model is a trick rear-opening that can function like a conventional tailgate but with a section in the center that swings open like a door for when you just need to grab something quickly.
Other changes include a new wall storage unit in the bed, the Pro Power Onboard in-bed electric outlet system standard at every trim level, and a twin-turbo V6 engine in place of the old base V6. The new base engine is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost good for 325 horsepower. New standard equipment includes a 12-inch infotainment screen, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, LED headlamps, and a Class IV trailer hitch.
2024 Ford F-150 Pricing
Prices are up across the lineup, but the increase varies considerably by model. Ford also charges a mandatory $1,995 destination fee and $645 acquisition fee (the only acquisition fee in the industry) on every F-150.
