Toyota will bring its blacked-out Nightshade Edition trend to the Camry for 2023, with a twist – bronze wheels.
Nightshade is Toyota’s term for a trend that has swept car design in recent years – vehicles with darkened trim. Like Toyota’s other Nightshade Editions (even the Prius gets one), the Camry Nightshade comes with a black grille, badges, mirror caps, and black trim around the headlights and tail lights.
Toyota hasn’t announced pricing for the package. Last year, the company offered a darkened treatment on the Camry for $700, but the new wheels probably mean this is a more expensive package. It will be offered on every trim level.
It’s available in three exterior colors: black, white, and a new hue Toyota calls Reservoir Blue.
The Nightshade Edition Camry rides on multi-spoke 19-inch wheels in bronze. They look like a darker shade than those found on the Highlander Bronze Edition.
Inside, Nightshade Camrys get black leatherette seating and an 8-inch central touchscreen.
