The Nissan Titan gets a darkened Midnight Edition and a price increase for the 2023 model year.
Rumors say Nissan’s biggest truck is on its last legs, likely to drop from the lineup after another model year or two. But Nissan hasn’t confirmed those reports and doesn’t seem to be giving up on the idea that it can compete in America’s heated full-size truck battle.
Nissan has changed nothing mechanically about the truck. That means just one engine option – a 5.6-liter V8 making 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. That’s respectable power, but its 9,320-pound towing capacity still trails the class leaders.
Wireless Apple CarPlay will come as standard on both the PRO-4X and Platinum Reserve trims for 2023. That seems to be the only equipment change. Android Auto is still offered, but not wireless.
The other change for 2023 is a new Midnight Edition. Available only on the Crew Cab SV, Nissan says it “gives the truck an even more aggressive appearance, thanks to black exterior and interior trim” and black 20-inch wheels.
