The Kia Sportage is headed for a dramatic makeover. It will come with a substantial price increase.
The 2023 Sportage will start at $25,990 – a $1,900 increase from the price of the 2022 model.
The 2023 Sportage is a radically different vehicle than the car it replaces. The 2022 Sportage is well-regarded by critics thanks to an extensive list of features for its price and 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. But no one ever bought one for its curb appeal. Its bulbous body and odd proportions stand out in a class – compact SUVs – full of balanced-looking vehicles.
For the 2023 model year, that’s all fixed. The next Sportage wears angular good looks with a sharp, stylish nose and dramatic lighting elements. Inside, its large curved display – actually a pair of screens, one for the driver and one in the center console, but mounted to look like one unit – make it one of the most advanced-looking vehicles in its class.
