2022 Toyota GR Supra A91-CF Edition: Carbon Fiber. Lots of Carbon Fiber

For the 2022 model year, Toyota will bring carbon fiber to the Supra. Lots and lots of carbon fiber.

The awkwardly named GR Supra A91-CF Edition is a limited edition. Just 600 will be built. It will arrive in dealerships this fall. Toyota hasn’t announced pricing yet. But, with all that carbon fiber, we’d expect it to command a significant premium over the 2021 GR Supra A91, which starts at $54,795 (plus a $995 delivery fee).

Lots of Carbon Fiber, Lots of Grip

“All that carbon fiber?” you ask.

Specifically, a carbon fiber front splitter, large new carbon fiber canards, carbon fiber side rockers, a carbon fiber duckbill spoiler, and carbon fiber lower rear canards. That’s enough aero bits to contribute significant downforce to the car, aiding grip. But Toyota hasn’t released performance figures.

The GR Supra A91, without all the added downforce, is good for a 3.9-second sprint to 60 mph.

Exclusive Looks Inside and Out

Nineteen-inch wheels come in a special-edition-exclusive matte black. Buyers can choose from Absolute Zero White, Nitro Yellow, and matte gray Phantom paint schemes. Inside, the A91-CF comes exclusively in a black-and-red leather and Alcantara scheme. Carbon fiber trim and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel complete the look.

Track Day Included

It’s a lot of performance. To help you make the most of it, each A91-CF edition will come with a one-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association, featuring a High-Performance Driving Event with expert instruction.

“It consists of an all-day course with classroom instruction, on-track driving, and opportunities to connect with other sports car enthusiasts. Instructors are provided free for all beginner drivers,” Toyota says.
