Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off a special edition of its SL flagship 2-seater that will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz SL 450 and SL 550 Grand Edition models feature a Graphite Grey exterior with various high gloss chrome and matte silver accents to give them a distinctive look. The new models will bow next year.

Also adding to the look are 19-inch front and 20-inch rear AMG 10-spoke forged wheels finished in high gloss black and a lowered ride height thanks to an AMG-tuned suspension. The exterior also sports SL Grand Edition badging.

Inside, the cabin is fitted with Designo Tundra Brown Pearl leather, piping in Golden Olive Pearl and embroidered Grand Edition logos in the headrests.  The SL 450 is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 making 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque good for 0-60 mph acceleration of 3.9 seconds. The SL 550 has a turbo V8 pumping out 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It runs 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds. Both cars are electronically limited to a top speed of 155 mph.
