Honda has announced pricing on its updated 2020 CR-V, which underwent a minor refresh and dropped the 2.4-liter normally aspirated 4-cylinder on the base model. Starting at $25,050, all Honda CR-V models, except the Hybrid, will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. The engine is rated at 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque.
Four trim levels
The 2020 Honda CR-V will be offered in four trim levels, LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. All models except the top-line Touring offer a choice of front or all-wheel drive. The Hybrid will have all-wheel drive and come only in the Touring trim. Pricing for that model will be announced closer to its spring launch.
The base 2020 Honda CR-V LX equipped with all-wheel drive will start at $26,550. Stepping up the CR-V EX sees an MSRP of $27,560 for front-drive and $29,060 for the all-wheel drive version. The CR-V EX-L starts at $30,050 for front-drive and $31,550 with AWD. The Touring model costs $33,250 for front drive. All prices exclude $1,095 delivery.
What’s the fuel economy on the 2020 Honda CR-V?
The front-drive CR-V models are rated at 28 mpg city, 34 mpg highway and 30 mpg combined. AWD modes get 27 mpg city, 32 highway and 29 mpg combined.
