The 2019 Subaru Ascent SUV has been priced starting from $31,995 and will be available in showrooms this summer, the company announced. The U.S.-built 3-row family SUV, which rides on a 113.8-inch wheelbase is the largest vehicle ever built by the Japanese automaker and is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that promises fuel economy of 20 mpg city/26 highway and 22 combined.
Offered in four trim levels, base, Premium, Limited and Touring, the Ascent offers up to 153.5 cubic feet of passenger room and 86.5 cubic feet of cargo space when the rear two seats are folded down. Second row seating options include either Captain’s chairs or a 3-passenger bench that helps Ascent accommodate up to eight occupants.

AWD across the board
The $31,995 base trim includes all-wheel drive; EyeSight driver assist technology; SUBARU STARLINK, a 6.5-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, 3-zone climate control, second row bench seat, automatic power door locks, roof rails and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Priced from $34,195, the Premium trim adds blind-spot monitoring with lane change assist and rear cross-traffic alert; towing capability up to 5,000 lb.; power driver seat; an 8.0-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Wi-Fi connectivity; body-color side mirrors; privacy glass; leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever handle; rear seat climate controls, and 3-mode heated front seats.
The$38,995 Limited adds leather-trimmed upholstery, second-row captain chairs or bench seating at no additional charge, as well as LED steering responsive lighting with high beam assist. The top of the line Touring model is priced at $44,695 and includes Java Brown leather seats and upholstery; upgraded leather heated steering wheel and woodgrain-pattern matte finish accent trim. The Touring also comes with an 8.0-inch Multimedia Navigation system, Harman Kardon Quantum Logic surround sound, panoramic power moonroof and rain-sensing wipers.
