Lexus is adding a bit of flash to its compact IS lineup of sport sedans with the limited run 2019 IS 300 Black Line Special Edition. Only 900 will be built. Based on the rear- and all-wheel drive versions of the IS 300 F Sport sedan, the new model boasts distinctive exterior accents.
All models are equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels done up in a black vapor chrome finish along with black side mirrors and a choice of three exterior colors, Ultra White, Obsidian and Atomic Silver.
Interior accents
All Black Line IS 300 models have Nuluxe seats with red accents on the seat cushions and side bolsters. Additional red accents are used on the door along with red stitching on the seats, console and armrests. The black wood-trimmed steering wheel is heated and all Black Line models are equipped with LED headlamps and navigation as standard equipment.

The rear-drive 2019 Lexus IS 300 Black Line models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 241 horsepower and backed by an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive models come with the 260 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 which is mated to a 6-speed automatic. All models feature F Sport suspension and brake upgrades that help improve handling.
The Black Line Special Edition will be available at dealerships in March. Pricing starts at $44,800 for the rear-drive 4-cylinder version and $46,850 for the V6 AWD model compared to the rear-drive F Sport’s $41,605 and the AWD V6 F Sport at $43,655. All prices exclude $1,025 delivery.
