- Limited-run versions of the 2019 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan and ATS-V Coupe
- Marks changeover in division’s V performance car strategy
- ATS-V Pedestal priced from $77,090
- CTS-V Pedestal priced at $102,590
A limited run of 2019 Cadillac ATS-V Coupes and CTS-V Sedans called the Pedestal Edition, marks the end of the division’s third generation of high performance sport coupes and sedans. Only 300 of these models will be built in total. The farewell to these models, however, doesn’t spell the end to Cadillac’s V-Series line of performance vehicles, as it awaits the launch next year of the 2020 Cadillac CT6-V, which will be powered by a 550-horsepower Blackwing twin-turbo V8 engine driving all four wheels.
2019 Car Reviews: First Takes on the New Models
To distinguish the Pedestal Editions of the ATS-V Coupe and CTS-V Sedan, Cadillac uses an all-new exterior color called Bronze Sand Metallic, which is offset by black chrome trim and grille surrounds, dark alloy wheels (19-inch on CTS-V, 18-inch on ATS-V), red Brembo brake calipers and a carbon fiber package that is standard on the ATS-V is added to the CTS-V. Performance remains unchanged, the ATS-V is equipped with a twin turbo V6 producing 464 horsepower, while the CTS-V has a supercharged V8 making 640 horsepower.
Cabin upgrades
Both models are equipped with Recaro sport seats clad in black semi-aniline leather with contrasting micro-suede inserts in Light Wheat with bronze stitching. Carbon fiber is used for various bits of interior trim and both cars are equipped with a performance data recorder video data system.
