Honda is hoping to keep the sales momentum going strong on its hot-selling HR-V when the 2018 models begin rolling into dealership later this month. The subcompact SUV crossover has seen its volume numbers rise by 27.9 percent in the first half of the year and is currently outpacing all of its segment rivals on a retail basis. Pricing stays close to 2017 levels, with most variants seeing their stickers rise by just $105.

All versions of the HR-V will continue to feature a 141-horsepower/1.8-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and offer Honda’s second-row Magic Seat that can fold to create up to 58.8 cu.ft. of storage space. While largely carryover, the 2018 HR-V will offer a new Aegean Blue Metallic finish and revised alloy wheels on EX and higher trim grades.

Starting with the LX level, a front-drive HR-V opens at $20,510 with a 6-speed manual transmission, $21,310 with a CVT automatic and $22,610 for the AWD version with CVT. EX models add a more powerful audio system, heated front seats and exterior mirrors, push-button start, auto climate control and fog lamps starting at $22,560 for a front-drive/6-speed, $23,360 for a FWD/CVT and $24,660 for an EX model with AWD/CVT. Topping the range and available only with a CVT, the leather-lined HR-V EX-L with Navigation is $25,980 for front-drive and $27,280 for AWD. All prices include $940 in destination charges.
