The hybrid version of the redesigned 2018 Honda Accord goes on sale March 23 at the auto maker’s dealerships nationally. The 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid is offered in five trim levels, up from the three available on the previous generation model. This new lineup allows for a more affordable entry level model.
The 2018 Accord Hybrid starts with a base model priced at $25,100 plus $890 in destination charges. The new model is $4,505 less than the previous base model and still offers a long list of standard features including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillamps, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry with push button start, a 7-inch driver’s TFT display screen, multi-angle rearview camera and Honda Sensing advanced safety features. Honda Sensing includes adaptive cruise controls with low-speed follow, collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition.

The other trim levels include the new EX and EX-L Navi versions in addition to the returning EX-L and Touring. Pricing on these trims start at $28,890 for the EX, $31,440 for EX-L, $32,440 for EX-L Navi and $34,710 for the top-of-the-line Touring. Again, $890 destination is extra.
The 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine paired to an electric motor that produces 232 lb-ft of torque. Combined system output is 212 horsepower. The EPA Fuel Economy Ratings for all models of the Accord Hybrid are 47 mpg city/47 mpg highway for a 47 mpg combined number.
