Bowing at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel Black is a new package that puts its own spin on the ubiquitous dark theme sweeping the industry. Adding a bit more distinction to the off-road focused Ram Rebel, the Black package kit can be ordered on any Rebel regardless of its exterior color.
Beyond a Black-finished brush guard and wheels, this slightly sinister Rebel also boasts an all-black interior highlighted by black anodized bezels on the instrument panel, dash, doors and console plus black heated seats with “Rebel” embroidered into the backs. Light Gray Slate stitching is found on the seats, dash, doors and console plus heavy-duty rubber floor mats. For those seeking a bit more elegance, Black leather Katskin seats are offered as an option.

Like the regular Ram 1500 Rebel, this new Rebel Black special edition comes only in a short-wheelbase/crew cab configuration with unique styling cues, 33-inch off road tires, air suspension and the choice of a 305-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or a 395-horse 5.7-liter Hemi V8 underhood. The former comes with 4-wheel drive and while the latter offers the choice of rear-drive or 4WD. Set to arrive in dealers this March, the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel Black will start at $46,910.
