Barely a week after unveiling the 570S Design Editions, supercar specialist McLaren Automotive has announced another option for its Sport Series coupe. This time, the personalization is a new competition-inspired 570S Track Pack that sharpens the car’s performance without compromising its day-to-day drivability.

Functional exterior changes to the 570S Track Pack bring a model-exclusive rear wing that’s roughly half and inch taller than the standard spoiler and adds 64 pounds of downforce at 150 mph to keep the tail more firmly planted when cornering. Other features include a Stealth-finish Sports exhaust system, lightweight Stealth-finish alloy wheels and a roof panel rendered in McLaren Special Operations Dark Palladium.
The Track Pack treatment includes a special lightweight interior with full carbon fiber racing seats and Alcantara replacing heavier leather throughout the cabin. It also nets the same McLaren Track Telemetry system used on the 675LT and McLaren P1 models that provides real-time lap times and sector splits as well as full data-logging and can offer comprehensive post-drive analytical comparisons.

Collectively, Track Pack components trim 55 pounds from the 2,895-pound curb weight of a standard 570S. Having them fitted will add $23,660 to the car’s $187,300 base price. Orders are now being taken with deliveries set to begin in early 2017.
