Shortly after announcing the 2017 V12 Vantage S would be offered with a manual transmission, Aston Martin also revealed that the V8 Vantage lineup would be simplified for the American market with the GT and S models being consolidated into a single Vantage GTS-spec for 2017. The car awaits a comprehensive redesign expected for the 2018 model year. To be offered in both Coupe and Convertible configurations but in a limited run of just 100 units, the 2017 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTS carries over the existing 4.7-liter V8 backed by either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission and will be available in Sport and Lux Edition trims.

Pick your personality

As its name implies, the Vantage GTS Sport Edition boasts bespoke visual and functional cues, the latter highlighted by a standard Sport Suspension package. An assortment of carbon fiber exterior elements and gloss-black accents complement the car’s graphite-finished 5-spoke alloy wheels and textured black exhaust outlets. Carbon fiber/black touches also appear in the Sport Edition’s cabin, which features either Obsidian Black or Argento Grey leather set off by contrasting Plisse Alcantara or Indented Leather detailing.

The Vantage GTS Lux Edition emphasizes the grand touring side. In addition to more compliant Comfort suspension setup, it relies on bright-finish accent elements along with a gloss-black front splitter and rear diffuser and Silver alloys to make a more elegant statement. Inside, the Lux Edition matches Piano Black and satin chrome trim bits with a choice of supple leather upholstery and unique stitch detailing. They also come with the primo 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen audio package.
