2017 Acura NSX Build Begins

Production has begun for the all-new 2017 Acura NSX at the state-of-the-art Honda Performance Center in Marysville, Ohio. The first series-build vehicle was driven off the line by motorsport mogul and Hendrick Automotive Group owner Rick Hendrick. Hendrick won the right to the first NSX with a $1.2-million winning bid at a Barrett-Jackson auction held in January. Proceeds from the sale supports the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground.

Finished in exclusive Valencia Red Pearl paint with color-shifting Andaro chemistry, Hendrick’s historic Acura NSX VIN 001 also features a healthy selection of optional personalization kit. Key extras include the interwoven-design alloy wheels, carbon ceramic brake rotors, leather-and-Alcantara interior trim and a carbon fiber roof panel, engine cover and decklid spoiler.
