2016 Nissan Juke Stinger Launched

The wraps have come off the 2016 Nissan Juke Stinger Edition which will be offered in two variants, the Black Singer Edition by Color Studio and the Yellow Stinger Edition by Color Studio. Both are inspired by the custom Color Studio program launched for the 2015 model year that allows buyers to personalize vehicles through special color accessories including wheels, spoilers, door handles, mirrors and interior accents. So successful has it been, Color Studio is being expanded to include the Nissan Versa Note.

"While many buyers enjoy the ability to custom configure their Juke through the seemingly endless combinations of colors and accessories available through Color Studio, we’ve taken two of our most popular colors — yellow and black — and most frequently ordered accessories and packaged them into these two special Stinger Editions," said Pierre Loing, Nissan’s vice president of product planning.

Yellow interiors

Both models sport exclusive yellow interior accents including a Juke’s signature pained center console along with yellow stitching on black seats. The custom package is available on the Juke SV trim level and will be available beginning in January. Outside the vehicles are negative images — the Yellow Stinger sports black exterior mirrors while the Black Stinger has yellow mirrors. Both cars feature body colored front bumpers, black fender flares and black 17-inch wheels.

The Stinger Edition option package is priced at $990 on top of the front-drive Juke SV’s MSRP of $22,300 for the front-drive model and $24,100 for all-wheel drive. In addition to the basic package, buyers can choose additional options from the Color Studio portfolio including a hatch handle finisher, lower hatch accent, side door sills, headlight trim rings, floor mats and yellow center wheel caps.

"With limited production of the 2016 Juke Stinger Editions by Color Studio, we expect them to sell quickly," Loing said. "Juke buyers are not afraid of standing out and these two Stinger Editions are about as bold as you can go."
