Two teasers of the all-new 2016 Jaguar XF have been released along with confirmation this revamped midsize luxury sedan will bow at the New York Auto Show. Although holding back many details about the second-gen XF until its formal unveiling, Jag has stated the remake will see the car set new benchmarks for light weight and fuel efficiency while offering exceptional comfort, refinement, luxury and technology.

"I believe the all-new XF will be the best looking car in its class, noted Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar. "Elegant, handsome and with proportions that imbue a great sense of integrity – the all-new XF will be true to the strong tradition of sporting Jaguar saloons while being completely of its time." While the sole exterior view is not particularly revealing, the interior photo indicates the 2016 XF stylishly melds classic and contemporary elements.

Those who can’t wait until New York can get an early look at the car during an event in London on March 24th and streamed live at jaguar.co.uk/newxf. While its specific location remains a secret, ace movie stuntman Jim Dowdall will attempt the world’s first high-wire water crossing by driving a new XF over a pair of appropriately spaced 1.3-inch diameter cables.
