Boasting greater elegance, the 2016 Chrysler 200S and 300S Alloy Editions make their public debut at the Chicago Auto Show. These sporty sedans crank up their visual appeal using Dark Bronze and Titanium trim accents to set off their existing blacked-out detailing. Both cars will be available in five exterior colors — Gloss Black Clear Coat, Black Forest Green Pearl Coat, Redline Tri-coat Pearl, Granite Crystal Metallic Clear Coat and Bright White Clear Coat — and offer optional all-wheel drive.
Subtle sophistication
Common touches to both Chrysler Alloy Editions include unique Dark Bronze finishes on the grille surrounds and alloy wheels — 19-inch on the 200S and 20-inch on the rear-drive 300 S (19-inch on the AWD version) and 200S/300S decklid badges paired with Titanium-plating on their exhaust tips and Chrysler wing badges. The 200S Alloy Edition also can be enhanced with a factory-installed Mopar exterior package while the 300S can be had with optional sculpted side sills and a decklid spoiler.

Inside, the Chrysler 200S Alloy Edition offers a choice of Black upholstery — cloth with leather trim or full leather — on contoured sport seats, both set off with Caramel stitching and an embossed “S” on the front seatbacks. Rounding out the look are Piano Black and Titanium-finish trim. It’s a similar story for the 300S, but the senior sedan only comes in Exclusive Black Nappa leather on the seats, dash, steering wheel and armrests along with a new analog clock.

Standard engine in the Chrysler 200S Alloy Edition is a 184-horsepower/2.4-liter 4-cylinder, although opting for AWD steps that up to a 295-horse/3.5-liter Pentastar V6. The 300S comes with a 300-horsepower version of the Pentastar but rear-drive versions can be had with a 367-horse/5.7-liter Hemi V8 as well as a performance-tuned suspension and stickier Goodyear Eagle F1 rubber.
Pricing for the 2016 Chrysler 200S Alloy Edition starts at $27,680, which is a $1,515 bump over a base 200S. The 2016 Chrysler 300S Alloy Edition opens at $36,960, or $495 beyond the standard 300S. Both are set to arrive in showrooms this spring.
