Chevy announced prices for the redesigned 2016 Chevrolet Camaro with a starting MSRP of $26,695 for the base 1LT trim level. The previous base trim level, 1LS, which retailed for $24,550 in 2015, has been dropped. The Camaro SS, which now tops the range, starts at $37,295, an increase of $2,495. In addition to the release of pricing, Chevrolet also said it has launched a new accessories visualizer on its website to allow customers to see many of the personalized features available on the revamped pony car, including interior and exterior colors, wheels, stripes and accessories.
The 2016 Camaro is offered in coupe and convertible body styles and two models, LT and SS, each with two trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS. There is also an RS option package available that features 20-inch wheels, HID headlamps, LED taillamps and RS-specific grille and rear spoiler.

More for less
"The 1LT trim level has long been one of the most popular for Camaro," said Todd Christensen, Camaro marketing manager. "We expect it will be even more popular as the 2016 Camaro 1LT is priced less than the 2015 model and offers significantly more standard features and technologies."
Among these features are Chevrolet MyLink with Apple CarPlay, OnStar 4G LTE with WiFi hotspot, drive mode selector with Snow/Ice, Tour and Sport on all models, along with Track mode on SS, remote vehicle start on automatic-equipped models, keyless entry with pushbutton start, rear vision camera, automatic climate control and a flat-bottomed leather sport steering wheel. Among the performance items standard on the SS are auxiliary cooling for the differential, transmission and engine oil, Brembo brakes with 4-piston calipers, Goodyear Eagle F1 run-flat tires, active rev matching and limited slip differential on manual models and a configurable driver information center.
The all-new Camaro features a 275-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine on LT models while a 335-horsepower V6 is optional. All SS models come with a new 455-horsepoewr 6.2-liter V8.
