The world’s best-selling hybrid vehicle gets a dash of flash for the upcoming model in the form of the 2015 Toyota Prius Persona Series Special Edition. Spun from the upline Prius Three models, the Persona Series Special Edition will be offered in Blizzard Pearl and, for the first time, the Absolutely Red finish seen here. Other exterior changes include 17-inch alloy wheels with a dark metallic finish, premium heated power mirrors with integrated turn-signal indicators and a "Persona Series" badge on the rear hatch.

Inside, this latest addition to the Prius lineup features black SofTex faux-leather upholstery with gray contrast stitching on the seats. The multifunction steering wheel is covered in the same material and has a dark chrome bezel that matches the shift knob ring and door grips. Finally, the Persona Series boasts blue ambient lighting in the driver and front-passenger foot area.

The 2015 Toyota Prius Persona Special Edition goes on sale in September. Pricing for the Absolute Red model will start at $27,810 while Blizzard Pearl examples will open at $28,205.
