Combining unique visual tweaks with solid performance credentials, the 2015 Ram 1500 Sport lineup will expand this April with a pair of new limited-edition "buzz models." Available on Crew Cab 4×2 and 4×4 models, production of these Ignition Orange Sport and Black Sport package Rams will be capped at 1,000 units each. In addition to distinctive exterior color treatments, vented sport hoods and dual exhausts, the new Ram 1500s will bolster their 395-horsepower/5.7-liter Hemi V8 engines and 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmissions with a 3.92:1 rear axle and feature 20-inch alloy wheels. The rims have a brushed aluminum finish on the Ignition Orange Sport and are done in black on the Black Sport — which keys its cues off of the Ram 1500’s existing Black Express package.

These new Ram packages also include bespoke accents in their basic black interiors. The Orange Sport adds color-keyed mesh seat inserts and contrast stitching while the Black Sport complements its black leather with Light Black chrome trim. Both feature the 8.4-inch Uconnect system with navigation and a standard rear-view camera. Ordering for these limited edition models opens later this week with the 2015 Ram 1500 Ignition Orange package and Ram 1500 Black Sport package each adding $1,595 to the $42,215 base price of a Sport Crew Cab 4×2 or $45,735 to a Sport Crew Cab 4×4.
