On sale in October, the 2015 Honda CR-V will arrive with bolder styling and "significant enhancements" to the basic package as part of a mid-cycle refresh. Beyond offering this image that confirms a front fascia recast, Honda is saying little else about the extent of this remake. However, the 2015 CR-V is expected to swap the existing 2.4-liter 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine for a same-size but direct-injected alternative from Honda’s new Earth Dreams portfolio. In addition to being more powerful, it’s believed that new drivetrain also will see the Honda’s popular compact crossover replace its conventional 5-speed automatic transmission with a new and more efficient CVT.

As for interior changes, the revised 2015 Honda CR-V is likely boast a cabin several new upline touches. Like other 2015 Honda models, the CR-V also should benefit from even greater in-car connectivity highlighted by the availability of the latest iteration of the HondaLink system.
