Unveiled at the New York Auto Show, the restyled and upgraded 2015 Dodge Charger is set to roll into dealers late this year with the Charger SE – dubbed "the most-equipped entry Charger ever" – and Charger SXT starting at $28,990 and $30,990, respectively. Both are powered by the 292-horsepower/3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and like all other 2015 Chargers come with a segment-leading 8-speed automatic transmission. Adding all-wheel drive to either model will raise prices by $3,000.

On the V8 side, stepping up to the Dodge Charger R/T fitted with a 370-horse/5.7-liter Hemi, sport-tuned suspension, upgraded wheels/tires/brakes takes that price of entry to $33,990. Two additional R/T-spec variants further expand the performance envelope. At $36,990, the Charger R/T adds to the above chassis tweaks a Super Track Pack that includes a performance rear-axle ratio plus Dodge Performance Pages on the 8.4-inch Uconnect Media Center that comes standard on the base R/T. A new, late-arriving R/T Scat Pack model goes an additional step beyond. Its $40,990 price brings a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 — now rated at 485 horsepower — Brembo brakes, a tri-mode stability control, bespoke body bits and a unique interior trim but no Gas Guzzler penalty.

Crowning the 2015 Charger hierarchy is a pair of SRT-badged bad boys. At $48,380, the Dodge Charger SRT 392 shares the R/T Scat Pack’s 485-horse/6.4-liter Hemi but features its own SRT-spec adaptive-suspension, brakes and wheel/tire fitment, bespoke body parts/interior treatment and SRT-style Performance Pages as well as a day of instruction at an SRT Driving Experience. For the ultimate thrill, the Charger SRT Hellcat offers all that and more, starting with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 that cranks out a mind-boggling 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The flat-out nastiest muscle car to ever hit the streets opens a $64,990 — $1,700 of which is a Gas Guzzler tariff — and goes on sale during the first quarter of next year.
