Having quickly sold out the 2,000 units produced for 2013 when it was first introduced, the 2014 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition returns for its sophomore season with a new twist in the form of an available intelligent all-wheel-drive system. This more sinister and more exclusive sibling to the existing 300C Varvatos Luxury Edition also draws inspiration from various JV-designed men’s fashion items, but boasts bolder exterior cosmetic touches that include unique Phantom Black tri-coat paint set off with Black Chrome, Titanium Chrome and Titanium-look accent finishes. Rear-drive Varvatos Limited Editions retain the existing 20-inch alloy wheels while the new AWD models get a 19-inch alternative fitment.

The noir-themed interior treatment of this latest limited edition carries over intact with Pewter Metallic leather seats complemented by bespoke Diesel Gray and black pattern stitching and Varvatos logos. The dash features a custom instrument cluster and clock with Pearlescent White faces along with Charcoal Black Metallic bezels that are set off by Poltrona Frau black leather and Diesel Gray stitching. Titanium, Charcoal Hydrographic Wood and Gloss Black accents add a final flourish to the mix.

Powertrain choices for the 2014 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition again include the 292-horsepower/3.6-liter Pentastar V6 paired with an efficiency enhancing 8-speed automatic transmission and the 363-horsepower/5.7-liter Hemi V8 incorporating Chrysler‘s cylinder-deactivating Fuel Saver Technology backed by a 5-speed autoshifter. Like the 8-speed, it also features a Sport mode and steering-wheel-mounted paddles. The car’s all-wheel-drive system is designed to seamlessly and automatically decouple the front axle to save fuel when there’s sufficient traction at the rear wheels.
