Porsche AG, part of the Volkswagen Group, makes Porsche cars. Based in Zuffenhausen, Germany, a suburb of Stuttgart, Porsche makes a variety of luxury sports vehicles, electric sports cars, and SUVs.
Ferdinand Porsche founded the company in 1931. In 2023, the Porsche 911 hit a milestone year of 60 years old. The company originally unveiled the legendary sports car at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in 1963.
