We have had this car for about a month and love it. Very comfortable, good room for 5, and the sharpest CUV made in our opinion. It drives...like a cadillac and gets respectable gas mileage. Love the lane departure feature. Would highly recommend this car to anyone.

The styling and tech features of this vehicle are nice. It handles well and is fun to drive. That being said, I have had to bring my XT5 back to the dealership for service 4 times in the 6 months I've owned it and feel this vehicle is no where near worth the $53,000 I paid for it. Issues have included 2 recalls, touchscreen replacement (touch feature didn't work at all in temps below 15 degrees), howling noises in cabin in temps below 15 degrees (this is North Dakota in the winter; it's cold every day here), rattling/squeaking noises from the dash area, and a service transmission warning. I am sincerely regretting my decision to purchase this vehicle.

Road noise is terrible for a vehicle of this value. Engineers seem to be able to reduce that noise in other vehicles.
Very comfort and smooth ride. Good reliability and very high quality interior. I have the platinum trim and I absolutely love it. One of the best SUV I’ve owned.
Economy, value, esthetics, reliability
Will add a few extra features next time
I have had my XT5 3 years and love it! Sharp looking and a smooth ride! Zero mechanical issues. Maintenance costs very reasonable. Gas mileage has been excellent! 24-38 mpg. Purchased used with 36,000 miles. Initially used to commute 100 miles daily round trip but retired 10 months later. We live in a rural area with black top roads that do not get thoroughly snow plowed in the winter. AWD has never let me down! Plan to purchase another later model in the future!
This is a nice vehicle for anyone who likes luxury but doesn't want to spend a fortune. There is plenty of room for my son in his carseat in the second row.
Smooth Ride
This car has been reliable and safe for my family. I would recommend this car to other people in need of a spacious SUV in this category.
I really like the independent suspension and how smooth and quiet my 2018 XT5 Luxury rides. Long trips don't seem as long anymore because it's so enjoyable to drive. The rear view camera with bumper side views are so helpful when backing out of parking. The rear view mirrors with traffic indicators and lane change warning add confidence during freeway driving. Our ultra sized sunroof has been a pleasant surprise. We have been more than pleased with our XT5.

Above average road noise in cabin.
Stylish, drives well, strong reliable V6 engine, takes regular gas and good safely features. The crossover should come standard with rear view mirror camera due to poor visibility and rear collisions reported check Carfax report. The cabin is not as isolated as it should be for a luxury vehicle due to no skid or splash guard to protect engine and reduce road noise. I also noticed underneath the dashboard it could be better insulated. Finally the floor mats appear to small and cheap.
