Positive Review
I use the car only 5 to 6 months a year i am a canadian and use it only in the florida winter, from november to april that is why the mileage is so little. And in summer time it stays in a close garage not in the sun, with air conditioning. I am looking for a 7 passengers vehicule
Critical Review
My dad had a 2000 Seville DTS gave him lots of issues at 294,000 miles. After his death, we sold the car. My mum had a 1997 Cadillac 2 door SLS coupe, she got rid of it because of door issues. And what do I do? I buy a 2010 Cadillac SRX AWD Performance Edition, Black on Black. Right at the get-go I had an issue with the roof leaking. Not a slight leak, but passenger side and driver side floor boards were swimming pools after a decent Michigan rainy day. The dealer in Detroit, I initially got it from, said they were not responsible, but when I hankered on the Lemon Law, that issue was fixed in no time. It seems if you google roof leak, every SRX comes with a panoramic sunroof and in California there is an ongoing class action suit against GM for the same issue 225,000 vehicles to be exact. No recalls by GM since they do not consider it a safety issue (with all the electronics behind the dash and what water does to electrical components)Also the roof leak was fixed by GM on their 2012 model years, but any owners of the 2010-11 SRX will art some point in time get this issue. The drain pipes are too short and vibrate lose over time thus causing the leak. And GM charges a customer 413 to fix/upgrade to the new system, and shampoo and change carpets another 500. So now a week after the roof leak is fixed, I am driving home from work and the check engine light goes on. Took it to Autozone and their OBDII meter produced a P0017 code that could be either sensors or a lose timing chain. Seems also per Google, in 2009-10 GM had a bad batch of timing chains installed on their vehicles. No recalls for this either. And 3 days ago, the service airbag light came on. And around the same time with this years extreme colds in Michigan, the gear has an issue shifting out of park after 8 hrs of non-use. thank God I paid the extra for the 2 year 25,000 mile GWC Warranty, I plan on going to their preferred shop after I get out of work today. No at all happy with my Cadillac. Also be noted: For AWD owners the AWD system is a Haldex series 3 system, what they use on Audi, BMW and Volvo, so Cadillac did do right in some points.

I just wanted an idea of what my car was worth. I has mechanical issues which I listed and I just want to sell it locally and need an idea of what I may be able to get for it. When I but in my information they informed me they needed to see first. They wouldn't even give my any idea of what it may be worth. They were no help at all.
Everything works, luxury style
Driver window, motor is spotty... tolerable.
Was walking the lot and found this gem. 53k miles, excellent condition, rides smoothly, $8700. Very satisfied.
The key fob does not function as well even after replacing the battery I had the car 3 days and afraid I am going to get stranded somewhere due to this dumb key fob.
Great riding SRX. It is a luxury model with a 3.6 liter engine, with all the bells and whistles in it. It has 25,300 miles on it for a 2016. Very good gas mileage. There have been no major issues with this SRX. Enjoying this SRX very much.
Smooth ride
Quality issues
Countless issues from powertrain to leaks to poor gas mileage. The check engine light stays on. Poor quality build. No wonder there are so many Lexus on the road.
Not a bad car, but a serious problem arises when the headlights bake the chrome in the surrounding housing. We've changed the bulbs multiple times, cleaned the exterior, tried every hack. The result is the same, very diminished headlight strength, which makes nighttime driving anywhere but a city a dicey proposition. Add to this the fact that the car is constructed to prevent anyone who isn't a dealer from changing the bulbs (bumper has to be completely removed, even AutoZone won't touch it).
Comfort, reliability
Headlights, blind spot, interior trim, rear hatch
Replacement headlights were not much better. It has a tough blind spot, Interior plastic parts are falling off, rear hatch is glitchy, tire pressure sensor is also glitchy. I have put probably 75000 miles on 2012 SRX but I will not drive it after dark and I certainly won’t buy another. I am a grandma and my driving is mostly freeway driving. Other than that, it has been a good car.
