Positive Review
This car is twenty years old. The original owner was an older couple in a nearby town. The second owner lived a little further away (60 miles from the original owner). The second owner did NOT pull much maintenance on the car, but being older, too, didn't abuse it too bad. She did change the oil, but never had the cooling system flushed or paid any attention to the tires. After the purchase, I spent $2000 getting it "up to snuff" (new radiator, water pump, belt, and a few minor adjustments). This car has only 85,000 miles on it and the Lt1 is smoooooooth. This has been a dream car of mine for more years than it's been around. With my back having three compressed vertebrae, it's a pleasure to drive. The 260 horsepower puts my last car (2001 Town Car) to shame. It's Black with the grey interior. It's sharp, it's sweet, it's classy. My wife loves it, too. We've got very little into it for what it's worth to us. There's not a rear wheel drive vehicle out there today to even compare it to. 225 inches long and 4500 lbs.

Ride, comfort, style

Excellent ride, smooth and quiet. Cars are no longer made like this. It’s 100% a land yacht and I Love it. If you want a sporty, quick handling sedan look elsewhere. But if you want the true meaning of luxury aka living room couch, this is it. It floats and pampers you down the road. A clean example will prove reliable and parts are readily available, however, even the youngest examples are now 24 years old so expect some minor issues if you are daily driving. It’s the last of a bygone era and should be treated as such.
Safe to drive - full metal
Large car may take practice to get used to
Beautiful condition for this classic cadillac. A couple dents in front and the rest is great. New tires and recent tune-up. Interior is leather and in beautiful condition.
Everything about it.
None.
I have had the Fleetwood for 7 years. I got her with 37,890 actual miles. I have been everywhere on the Eastern Seaboard. She handles magnificently, always receiving compliments on her. The get up and go that she has on the highway is very impressive. Cadillac did great in making the automobile.
Fast, reliable, not too difficult to work on COMFY
Lack of gauges, dull steering, body roll.
Having owned 66 cars (this is my 67th) models as old as 1950 and as new as 2001, this is the finest car I have ever owned. Although I prefer the rack and pinion steering of my previous 99 Aurora (which this Fleetwood replaced) or my formerly owned 01 Eldorado ETC, but having rear wheel drive back in my stable is worth the compromise. This baby sits solid and heavy cruising down the freeway at 80 mph, while getting 26mpg. I have the Brougham model with 2:93 gears. My second favorite car ever, is her sister a 94 Roadmaster Limited Sedan. (now I call my small car, heh, heh) I know who this car was marketed to, but still, it would be nice to have a full gauge compliment. I like to know the RPM, coolant temp and oil pressure! I like the "statement" this car makes. It basically is a rebel in this silly world full of Prius, Scion, KIA, Mini-Coopers, and silly mice driving cars in commercials. As cool as a Mustang GT, Camaro SS, or Dodge Challenger, or even a Corvette can be, this car is cool in granny's clothing and gives a sense of dignity, rather than panic or desperation!
