Positive Review
I am very pleased with the car. Great design, always gets looks. I have been lucky to have owned some nice looking cars (traded a Honda S-2000)and none come close to this car. Quality inside and out. I test drove all the German competitors and they are not as engaging to drive. I was worried about the CUE system when I bought the car because of the expert reviews(finger prints). Don't be, you set up most settings once and can use the toggle buttons on the steering wheel for most things. I think I wiped the screen twice in a year. Run Flat Tires only negative.

Looks great
Transmission and mileage
Owning a Cadillac was my dream. I bought this car used with 24,000 miles. Beautiful to look at. I had 2 main issues. First, the transmission. It was jerking speeding up and slowing down. I researched and apparently their is a class action lawsuit over this 8 speed transmission. Second, I had the 4 cylinder and was getting 11 mpg! I admit that was mostly in town, but that's really not good and I babied it. I lost all confidence and traded it in for something new. I no longer dream of having a Cadillac.
This is one of the best handling sedans there is. The magnetic ride control is awesome. The interior is really nicely equipped with plenty of "automatic" controls. There are three drawbacks to this car. One is that the brakes tend to warp; the paint chips easily; and the other is the Pirelli run-flats. The latter tires are hard as rock and if you hit a pothole, chances are the tires will pop. I've gone through 3 tires in almost 1.5 years. Finally went and replaced all four with Continental DWS6. And the brakes have a tendency to warp. Decided to go with aftermarket (slotted, drilled rotors with ceramic pads) and that solved the warping. Once again, a great handling car, with terrific balance, AWD, and let's not forget the absolutely fabulous Bose sound system.
Can’t live without it
Premium gas
There’s one thing I don’t like about the car that I have to use premium gas. Other than that the car is amazing. The ride is fantastic. The stereo system is amazing. The look is fabulous. There are too many things I can say about this vehicle. That is so amazing you’ll have to drive it to believe it
Very handsome car that makes its own statement.. .
The lense for the visual computer needs replacemen
it is a used care that looks new and has plenty of power. Roomy and nice interior. excellent on long trips.
A lot of fun in the mountains with all wheel drive
Needs more power
A lot of compliments. A lot of people would like to own it. Very few issues to be 2014 module year.
I love this car and it really sticks out .
None that I can think of!
This car was bought new on special order. I paid cash for the car. This car has been garaged since it was new. I have it detailed every couple of weeks. This has been a great car, requiring little mintainence. I assume because of the low mileage (25,806). It has special chrome wheels which I added shortly after purchase. In my opinion the chrome wheels makes it a very sporty car. This only thing it is lacking is a sunroff. This was intentional because the way they install sunroofs these days, allows the sun to still come through the top fabric even though it is closed. I love this car and my only reason I'm thinking to maybe sell it or trade it in is to buy a new car for the upgrades in technology.
Gas mileage, handling, performance, 3.6L Eng/6 spd
If there's any, I haven't found them thus far!!
I was 71when I bought this car and, as such, needed a car with protection features as well as ride, performance and handling. It has the forward collision alert that is unmistakably activated when you're too close to the car in front of you; but, that is not all. It handles remarkably well and corners precisely. It's fast also. A Cady, a rep told me that his friend remarked that this car was faster than his Camaro! Now, all of that said, it only has 26,750 miles on the OD and the only thing that I have done to this car w/r to upkeep is change the oil, add 2 new front tires and a new battery which, by the way, is located in the trunk to keep it cool so that the heat from the engine doesn't degrade it faster. (Someone at GM was thinking!) I have compared this ride with a G70 and G80 and it rides better w/r to road noise and comfort. On acceleration, it will give the G80 a run for its money! With the Premium Luxury Edition, there's plenty to like on the inside. Would recommend this to anyone, not just the elderly, seeking the qualities just mentioned above.
Sporty and very fun to drive
Small interior and odd rear end
I have owned a Fully loaded 2011 CTS V6, a 2015 CTS 2.0 Turbo and currently own a Premium RWD Luxury 2019 CTS 2.0 Turbo. I have absolutely loved driving these cars over the last decade. The sporty handling, tightness of the suspension and fantastic acceleration make it a very fun car to drive. I do love most everything about the body style other than the rear design ends up with a few blind spots and the interior is pretty tight for anyone over 5'9". Unfortunately this will be my last Cadi for a long while. The current line up leaves me wanting much more. They all look like Chevys with a Cadi badge placed on them. I don't want an Implala, I want a Cadillac. After owning a 92 Allante, a 2005 Deville, 2011 CTS, 2015 CTS and my 2019 CTS I will be moving on to another brand. Hope someone at Cadillac sees this.
