Positive Review
the easiest most tractable car i have ever driven. 100,000+ and no repairs except batteries&brakes&tires.
Critical Review
We bought this 2003 Buick Rendezvous as a used car. We specifically sought out the FWD version instead of the AWD because the fuel economy was SUPPOSED to be close to 25 mpg. We have NEVER gotten better than 21, basically the same as the AWD version. Also, before 100,000 miles the rocker arm was pushed up out of the head. The shank holding it in the head was significantly smaller than that of the rocker arms of another car we had with the same motor. This happened on the freeway at 75 mph. We got that repaired and then it happened not just once but twice more. Each time a different rocker arm. The mechanic finally just went to the junk yard and got the heavier duty rocker arms from another similar motor and replaced all of those he hadn't replaced yet. SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW!!! Cost us in total nearly $2,000. Other aspects just seem to be done on the cheap. The electrical system has a problem and the power port/cigarette lighter keeps blowing fuses every time we plug in a charger for a phone. The headliner is falling down because the clips broke and the ignition switch went bad. Just shoddy parts and workmanship. I have owned Buick vehicles for years and have loved each one but this one is a BUST!

good quality reliable car, lasted 20+ years
large blind spots, difficult for short driver
this was an excellent car, we used it for local driving, we had it for 20 years and no one would guess that is was so old, it drove like a regular car, it did need major repairs the last few years, it got too expensive, so we sold it, but it lasted a good long time as a nice reliable car. it did have large blind spots which is hard if the driver is short, but other than that it was an excellent car.
Drives well and is clean, roomy seats 6-7 people
Can’t come up with negative issues…
This vehicle has been an excellent vehicle with routine maintenance done regularly.., oil changes, tire rotation and tires balanced regularly and I can’t recall any more issues…brake pads have been replaced… alignment checks routinely…as this is part of the tire package we purchased…
Enjoyable
N/A Can't complain about anything
04 Buick running strong looking for a great home for family that likes comfort third row low mileage good on gas mileage and great to hit the road with midnight
The most comfortable seats I have ever sat in
Needs more horsepower for how heavy the vehicle is
Personally I have loved my rendezvous from day #1 it has never left me stranded and has always been dependable when I needed it to be. I have had work done to it in the almost three years I have owned it, but being an 19 year old vehicle things will go wrong eventually. I love the comfortability of the seats and how the vehicle drives, I have gotten so many compliments in the few years that I’ve had it more then I have on my brand new 2022!! I highly recommend the rendezvous to anyone if they want something comfortable to drive and something reliable. Not to mention the design of the whole vehicle is neat and out of this world nowadays
