Positive Review

"quite and comfortable drive"

I replaced car I wanted a SUV vice a car. I must say the 1017 rode much better than expected. the infotainment center and touch screen is much improved. Love the interior. The seats are very comfortable and let room. I have gotten use to the engine off/on and with city driving it really does increase MPG. Apple play is great even though i have the navigation the iphone becomes the up to date navigation system. Its very quite an the 2.0 engine provides sufficient getup and go. The quality is great for the price and I love the Buick lines. As I have found the Buicks post 2012 seem to have no problems and i expect the Evension to be the same. I don't need a Lexus badge on my car to feel as I have a luxury SUV. and the Price 39k with the options is a good price. I have found the BUicks have become a real good product. the NEw 2017 Lacrosse is the best looking ever but I wanted a SUV that I don't have to crawl out of. You should take a look. I did notice a drive difference between the base and Essence level. The leather seats I think are more comfortable. I am betting 27 mpg city/highway

"Great vehicle except for shimmy/shaking"

Theres a shimmy/shaking when accelerating. Its very annoying & the dealership says GM is aware of the problem. However, being aware is not fixing it. It drives great & is very comfortable. The noise is more pronounced on the highway than what I expected.

Overall a descent vehicle
Pros

Comfortable, backseat options for AC/heat and seat warming.

Cons

Electronics fail more than than they should

Mostly a good vehicle. Problems connecting to phones a lot and the windshield wipers don't work properly for speed adjustment. The handle for the tire storage broke in less than 2 years. I really think buttons instead of knows for AC/heat is a bad choice. It's ironic you get a display telling you how dangerous it is to not look straight ahead but the buttons for AC require looking because the sensitivity requires moving your finger since you constantly fall off the sensor and have to look if you push made the changes. Very poor design. Other than that, it's descent on space and acceleration. Comfortable. I wish the front seat could fall forward instead of only backwards.

Pros

Quiet, responsive, built quality, smooth ride

Cons

nothing to say

Let me start by telling you I change cars every about 2 to 3 times a year yes 2 3 cars per year I am just sick in the head and I can not stick with 1 vehicle for more then 4 5 month I had all kind of brand from Lexus RX350 to Mercedes Toyota to Honda all kind of Toyota such as Highlander Rav 4 Camry Corolla Prius All Hondas Nissan Murano Mazda CX9 signature and CX5 GT Ford Edge and many more too name them Lexus RX350 was must comfortable vehicle to drive but infotainment system was totally useless Garbage this Buick does not fall behind Lexus and Mercedes what so ever excellent handling super responsive on 2.0 turbo engine very very quiet full of features in fact many more features then Lexus and Mercedes this was the only vehicle bought it over a year ago and still have it I Love every single mile I drive and every trip I take with this Buick not thinking to sell it any time soon if I sell it definitely is going to be another Envision but newer model.

Cons

Made in China

Very satisfied. Only two issues in 6 years. backseat a/c heat control gate defective. Repaired at no charge. Frayed seat belt. Replaced at no charge. Will consider purchasing a 2025. 2017's downside, made in China!

New Ride
Pros

Comfortable, stylish, handles well, looks good.

Cons

seat adjust each time car starts; stop/start-no

I really like my 2017 Buick Envision. It took me a while to get used to all the features, and I am still learning after 2 months of driving. It is roomy inside, very comfortable and clean. Mine has the panoramic view which I love. I do have a few issues such as each time I start my vehicle up, the driver's seat adjusts even though I have set the adjustments. One person told me to leave one set of keys out because that's the reason it does that. I tried that, and it did not help. The other small issue is the stop/start feature. I really don't care for that, and there is no way I can turn it off without having to take it to a service shop which I don't want to do because I don't want to start having repairs done this soon. Other than that, it rides good, but uses more gas than my 2008 Chevy Equinox. I guess because the engine is smaller, not sure. I like Buick models and SUV's especially, but I don't like the smaller size, compact vehicles. With all that being said, I would recommend anyone to purchase the Envision.

The Best SUV in it's class

We love the Envision Essence (2020) that we purchased new. It continues the quality, quietness, and performance that Buick has long been known for. Would encourage anyone to purchase the Envision!

Great SUV!

I love the luxury touches in the interior and exterior of the car. The ride is good and quiet. Comfortable. But the most important thing about this car, is that I have had no issues with it.
