We just got back from our 1st 600 mile road trip with the new 2013 Buick Encore.....and love the vehicle. The handling is fantastic, it is roomy and comfortable. Very little road noise, was doing 87 MPH and didn't realize it. Suspension is good, ride is fantastic. Mileage was wonderful. I like the vehicle more now than I did when we purchased it. My only complaint....could use a bit more trunk. Can't fit golf clubs but....can fit luggage. Also...the driver has a arm rest but the front right seat doesn't. It would be nice if both had arm rests that fold up and down. I was worried about pick up and passing (due to Car and Driver review) - don't worry about it....it did fantastic. I don't know why Car and Driver said that in the review....more like they pick on American Made Vehicles.....I was flying by people while passing and our car was loaded.

This thing is unreal and to many problems. "Not reliable of course" I, could not provide anything nice about this suv. Transmission shifting terrible. Gas mileage is not good. Cost repairs are expensive. Seats are hard, there's no comfort. To many plastic rattling sounds every where. No thanks, I don't recommend this pile of scrap metal junk.

Dependability
Needs blind spot and cross traffic features
We bought ours brand new in 2021. It has to this date, April 2025, never let us down in any way. Easy to drive & Park. Easy on gas. Seats 4 comfortably. Nice hatch/trunk area. Nice big back up screen. Only thing missing is blind spot and cross traffic safety features.

I love my Buick encore GX. I owned a 2018 buick encore and loved that too! Overall I think Buick makes very reliable vehicles. I have had no issues mechanically, with my 2018 I only ever had issues with the Bluetooth connecting.

i bought this a few weeks ago and so far i love it. it’s super cute and has nice features. it’s very compact so it’s a little small but perfect for just me and my boyfriend to travel.

Nothing not to like It works for me
I owned a 2014 Buick Encore previously. Little did I know this was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I sold my 2014 and did not have a second thought about getting another one. I purchased my 2019 Encore Preferred in 2022 around my birthday and as before I will not drive anything else. I get great mileage, it handles well on the highway, it is reliable and I have to say I have not had any problems with this auto. I keep my maintenance up to date. I plan to hold on to this auto until the tires fall off. I have never owned an auto that does not give me problems. It is like this auto is molded to my body, it fits well. When I try pricing the newer models I change my mind because the notes will be exceptional more than I can afford so I am ok with holding onto my auto with less than 40K miles on it.

I love this 2022 with the newer LE2 4turbo and 6 spd. Super nice ride and the quietest car ever. Nice features. Great gas mileage. It seems a surge of bad reviews were done within a few months by a disgruntled reviewer. That isn't representative of this true vehicle. I passed by the 2023 1.3 3 cylinder with the cvt for The last 2022 preferred with the 4 cylinder LE2 6 speed. I tow my small boat with ease.
