"Great car"

Owned 4 years now, great car, easy to drive, 30mpg on our trips. Great design inside and out. With the new tires this car is still like new with 70,000 miles on it.

Critical Review

"Decent car, comfortable, but things break"

I needed a cheap car to use to deliver mail as a rural mail carrier whenever I didn't have a mail truck. I've had it for 6 months now and only put over 2000 miles on it as I drive it sparingly. I thought I had a decent reliable car but have had some issues with it lately. These cars are known for their window motors going out as 2 of mine are shot when I bought it. It also started leaking rain into the passenger side floorboard. The paint on these old GM cars peels easily. The right turn signal is slow to engage and flash. The radio speakers are starting to make a buzzing sound. Now I'm having trouble with the car not having a throttle response. I've just put on new tires and this car is starting to become a money pit. I didn't think that a car with only 48000 miles would have all these issues. The only good thing I can say is you can buy these for cheap like under $2000 and it has a very comfortable and quiet ride.

One owner family car. Rebuilt, and riding great
Cons

Can not open trunk from inside the vehicle?

It is 2023, mom got this car in 1997. She read ended someone in 2011 and it was a write off. It sat on her driveway for 2 years, After dad passed away, and mom had to move to an assisted living, we spent $6k having it fixed in 2014. Forest Lawn Autobody in Calgary did a GREAT job. Mom loved getting rides in her car, sad to say I lost her during Covid. I am still driving it today, It handles and runs great. The rockers have some rust. I am considering a 14K complete pro paint job, - John Engel

Incredibly reliable car...even 20 years later...
Pros

Reliable, comfortable ride, strong motor

Cons

Not the most stylish of vehicles

I bought this car used from an elderly woman who didn't need it anymore. She was the second owner and I would be the third. It was in great condition but still needed some repairs so I paid a measly 2000 dollars for it about 10 years ago and it had about 80k miles on it. I got it assessed by a mechanic and had all spotted issues repaired over the next few months, though it was nothing major or expensive. Fast forward to today, this car is now our "backup" vehicle but still runs very well. Over the last decade of ownership, it's gone on many long distance road trips with me and it was also my daily driver for most of that time. It's needed some engine work here and there but considering the car is now 20 years old, it's quite impressive that it still runs and runs WELL. It gets up to speed nicely on the highway, the engine sounds good, and besides the ride feeling a little less "smooth" than it used to it's still going strong. Buick doesn't make them like they used to anymore, which is a shame. My 2003 Buick has been a well-loved companion for a long while, and I expect it still has life in it yet.

Sad to see you go
Pros

It's a good car

Cons

Engine bad

I actually love this car ❤️ just can't afford to get it fixed. I bought it from someone else, only the steering and breaks needed fixing at first. So I thought anyway! But now the car needs a new engine.

Kinda like solid diamond its cold

The car has all the previous metals known and I personally believe not.known to man mine is white in color with no rust it's motor is top notch strong and was I believe built by the greatest in car dealers Buick. Buick has sense to known that it takes a little from all the great car manufacturers in the world to build a reliable and energy efficient vehicle I will not come.off of.mine until one as greatly built is setting in its olace. It was a gift from my mother and a on time owner. This is hard on cars and this one will never run again instill has all the many colors coated together and all the original parts except someone changed the middle distributor and well it's been.down.hill sense until the fuel pump went and then I.knew.itnwas finished but never the less I'm not saying it formnomprice I want another of equal capabilities
