My first BMW experience and I am enjoying it, I love the lines of this car but for a six-cylinder the gas mileage is fair, but not good. I would recommend it for excellent handling even with snow packed roads.
Sleek, stylish, fun to drive
Wide 22 inch tires a bit noisy, but not too bad
Love the car. Sleek, stylish, fast and in my case loaded with features. Despite the slanted roof back seats offer plenty of comfortable seating space and trunks nearly as big as in X5. No complaints on anything in my certified X6.
Fun to drive.
Short wheel base so not as smooth of a ride.
This car is a beast! It is very athletic and agile. A little rougher ride than my 7 series but I love driving this car.
Nice design plus road handling.
Wind and road noise that should not happen.
Nice styling and type of vehicle that you don't see yourself coming or going. The workmanship with trim and fit is very good. The pricing of this X6 should reflect less plastics and rubber that has been used on the interior. The engine is the 3.0 with twin turbo. Has the power that is more than enough when needed. The rear trunk is a bit too high for a heavy lift from ground level. Don't understand why BMW couldn't come up with a better design. Would I buy another X6, maybe. I think a X5 would be a better vehicle for my situation, but the X6 is more out of the box look than the mundane SUV'S you see on the road.
I have all the packages offered in a 35i X Drive

Bought my pre -certified 2017 X6 BMW Handles phenomenal...!!! Reviews were great!...Could not ask for a better BMW ... glad I got my X6 2017 like brand new ...German engineering is Fantastic.....!!! The Ultimate Driving Machine.....
Easy to drive not too large. Sturdy and Powerful.
The multiple forms of technology will take some
I love the car. It is very sleek and stylish and is both masculine and feminine. However the navigation being on the window is convenient but is a distraction while driving. It feels like you have double vision when you're trying to read this navigation that's on the window in front of you and drive at the same time. You have to train your eye to ignore the navigation. The car has a lot of Technology on the interior and will take a bit of practice to utilize all the features. It took a few minutes just to changing gears to pull off. Controlling the cameras and radio is confusing. Great for someone who is tech savvy. I felt like Inspector Gadget trying to control all of the features. The price was fair, affordable and well worth it. Much more comfortable to drive than the big bulky x7 and the square, boxy, soccer mom x5.
Best car I've had. Adaptive cruise control is great!
You have to love the roofline!!!

This is my 2nd X6 previous was 2016. I tested the Q8, Cayenne, Land Rover, and GLE. I chose the x6 over the others for the following reasons. First, I really like the coupe look on the SUV. The drive is excellent and truly responsive in the dynamic mode. I always felt like all four wheels were firmly planted during my test drive. The off set staggered wheels (20’s) look enormous at different angles, and the rims are sharp. No need for aftermarket. The comfort seats are very supportive and stylish. Ventilated and heated. The front row is pleanty wide and well designed with a great big infotainment and the HUD is top of the line. Q8 and Land Rover info’s leave unsightly fingerprints that are more noticeable because of their slanted positioning. The X6 back row is more than adequate in size. I am 6’ 235lbs. and had no issues in any of the three seat locations. By the way this car is really great for a family of four on vacations. Luggage fits surprisingly well even with the roofline and a full tank will get you about 448 miles! I had a hard time passing up the GLE Coupe AMG43 at $86,500 it’s 10 grand more than my purchase and I admit the V8 turbo engine is sick, but I like the x6 dash and info better. If you can do without a 4 second track car and decide that the X6’s 0-60 at 6 sec is quick enough, you will be very happy while saving yourself about 10-15 grand!
