This is the 740i with the big six. Good fuel economy, a great ride and excellent handling. The twin-turbo six banger is a really good match for this body.The eight-banger is overkill for this car.

I have a 2012 750 XI with cold weather package. I currently have 32k miles on it and it has been in the shop more than 5 times for repairs thankfully all covered under warranty. I have had the Side Camera, Timing Chain, Battery, Fuel Injectors, And Memory seat buttons all replaced as of today. The MSPR was 104k and when I book it today the value is 40k by far the worst resale value of any car I have ever owned.

I’ve never had as many problems with any vehicle I’ve owned and I’ve owned a lot!! 59 years old… Engine harness had the wrong coating and melted shorting out the entire electrical system. Removed gone and replaced it then every month something new. Don’t buy this car.. RUN away from it. My kids call it the death trap..

Very good looking vehicle great multiple ride selections , great engine response, suspension is awsome. My model does not have all the bells and whistles of a fully loaded 7 series which I feel makes it better to maintain as I have read that electrical issues have come up as the vehicle ages I have owned a 2002 330ci for the last seven years and this is truly an upgrade for me I initially was looking for a 750i but with V8 engine there are serveral issues with oil and seals so with the straight six being very reliable I opted for the 740

I have had this car for years now and I'm just as in love with it now as when I first purchased it. The power of this car is unbelievable and it's exhilarating to drive it. It handles like a nimble sports car (I've had several of them) yet it is extremely comfortable and very luxurious to ride in. Before I purchased this car I was warned that the engine was known for using oil but I have not had to put oil in it like I was told that I might have to. I now have 100K on it and I have only had to do regular maintenance on this car, nothing major has gone wrong on it. My car has the optional (and rare) Bang

I love this car i have owned it for 6 years. i drive it mostly on the weekends it runs and drives so smooth.

Luxurious ride with exceptional handling and power. Quiet cabin and well appointed interior. Easy to drive with good safety features. Wonderful sound system with a well insulated cabin makes a concert sound to enjoyable.
