GREAT DRIVING CAR, BUT DOERS NOT RETAIN HIGH ENOUGH RESALE VALUE. THE CUP HOLDERS ARE TERRIBLE !! THE MAINTENANCE IS VERY HIGH. JUST A BATTERY FOR IT WAS $500.00 IT HUGS THE ROAD EXTREMELY WELL. THE INTERIOR HOLDS UP VERY GOOD. THE GAS MILEAGE IS VERY GOOD. STILL FEELS LIKE A NEW CAR EVEN AFTER I HAVE DRIVEN IT FOR 119,000 DEPENDABLE MILES.

I love the style and driving the car ( in all conditions. I hate owning it. very expensive to maintain. The electronics give too many things that have to be replaced.

Overly engineered amenities.
Auction sale car, a little rough around the edges, scuffed bumpers, broken door handle. Air bag failure, AC doesn't get cold. $30 for a handle, $30 bucks for an airbag bypass box. Body straight, no rot, good paint, nice leather interior, for $2000 I have a nice ride.
Love this model and year. Mine is black exterior, black BMW premium tire and rims, Black interior, with all black tinted windows. Very dependable. Looks amazing. Def get people who stare at the car when driving. Neg: lights come on the dashboard, tricky electrical system, transmission can be questionable at times(actually very easy to fix), TERRIBLE IN THE SNOW.
Needs some tlc but runs great need a new car too expensive for me So I'll be happy to see what I can get from you thanks

Costly to fix,
Cost of maintenance is high, but if you can get over that it’s worth it. Reliable. Comfortable. Took it on a 4,000 miles round trip and would do it again in a heart beat.

BMErs are not known for low cost cars
This car is a low mileage BMW 530xi. All records are available since new. I am the second owner. The first owner is a close friend who also took care of this car with regular recommended maintenance. This car drives as it should, for this high end BMW. In winter, the all wheel drive is a comfort and a real safety feature. I would recommend this 1st class, safe car to anyone. However, it may be too much car for a new high school grad.
