Power, performance, huge trunk
Not especially comfortable
I have a love/hate relationship with this car. It is "put me in jail" fast with an exhaust note that makes all the right sounds. The infotainment interface is easy to use as are the car settings. The front seats are not especially comfortable but they are good enough. The back seat is not great, for long trips it is pretty poor. I do like the fact the back seat folds down making for huge trunk space. The trunk swallows furniture, luggage, bicycles with ease. It is a feature I love about this car. I gave four stars due to a battery failure early on and ongoing coolant leaks. With options this car was nearly $100,000 new. They depreciate like rocks and if you buy one used I think you are smarter than I am.
The S7 has proven to be a highly reliable and comfortable daily driver, yet capable of astonishing performance when called upon. It is not a sports car of course, though its handling is excellent for a vehicle of its size and power. However, it is an excellent balance between an all day people mover/shopping transporter and a pin you to your seat high powered sport sedan.
great performance and smooth ride Very dependable great mileage highly recommend to family and friends
This a performance machine. The car looks and runs like new. It handles the road and curves well. When I trade, I plan to buy another Audi S7.
Prefect salon car that can adapt to any occasion
Hefty cost, wish the prestige series was 10k less
Originally I owned the 2017 S7 which had the V8 engine and upgrading to the new 2022 s7 with 2 cylinders less did concern me but overall I'm very happy with the car. The sound notes are great and although I notice a drop in power from my previous model its still a solid vehicle. The technology upgrades alone are pure quality and the 4 door salon still acts very much like a sleeper. I will most likely trade this in after 2 years for the RS7 since I do miss the V8 engine. Dont get me wrong the v6 twin turbo is great and there's literally no turbo lag thanks to the hybrid electrical system that they tied into the engine but its tough going down from the V8 to the V6. Everything else on the car is fantastic the body styling is unmatched, the cargo space is never lacking and the handling and overall quality materials is all top tier, just be sure to have a micro fiber cloth handy to eliminate the inescapable number of fingerprints lol
Performance, Aesthetics, Reliability
Came with 3G technology, so pretty much never use!
I have owned my Audi 2015 for almost 6 years and still feel like a kid driving it! You cannot help but smile when passing, driving winding roads or going for a leisurely drive. For such a long and heavy car, the handling is amazing. And the aesthetics ... It's a beautiful masterpiece of a car that is not highly replicated. Even dirty, my car gets looks, compliments and questions from strangers on how I like my car. As with all my Audi's, I never worry about it being in the shop (except for normal maintenance). It's dependable and can drive in any situation all while looking sharp. The car is expensive, but well worth it. First time I have ever wanted to just keep my car vs getting a new model (granted, I do have my eye on the Q8!) and will probably keep for another couple of years. I am that pleased with my Audi S7!!
Fast, stylish, high quality in & out
Expensive
Bought my S7 almost 2 yrs ago off-lease, installed new tires & brakes + had the oil separator replaced. It's an expensive car to own but well worth it if you can stretch your budget. Speed builds quickly, passing slower drivers is a hoot. Love the way it sounds when I mash the gas pedal! Bose surround sound audio is fantastic and even plays DVDs (only while parked, of course). Ride quality suffers a bit due to the 20" wheels but they add to the car's sporty feel. Handling is great for such a big, heavy car. Diamond stitch leather seats and carbon fiber trim are the icing on the cake.
Power, handling, speed of transmission, tech
Lacks acoustic glass on rear windows; slow windows
I’ve owed the car for 2 years. I live in NorthEast Ohio. We get all kinds of weather; hot summers, a wet fall and harsh winters. The Audi S7 never disappoints. The sport’s differential is a must. The dual clutch transmission coupled with the rearend makes you smile as the car seems to LITERALLY anticipate the turns. You will always be in a great position if you want to lay down power to the Quattro AWD system. The car is glued to the ground. I use summer performance and winter dedicated tries. 21” for summer and 20” for winter. I love the inferred camera and B&O speakers. The car is packed with tech. Oh, and then there’s just the raw power whenever you want! Car was ~$106,000 with all the options. I think all boxes were checked off :) The 2016 S7 should have been designed with acoustic rear windows! No Apple car play in 2016. The powered windows are a little slow. Too many steps to get into launch mode. Also the break dust is horrific but they sure are impressive breaks! Despite the negatives, the car will make you smile GUARANTEED! You also get better valet spots (no surprise) and lots of compliments and looks. Would move to a 2020 S7 but those are coming with the V6. The V8 is the only way!
