What Owners are Saying About the 2003 Audi S6
"THE mountain and road trip car"
"I have owned many Audis over the years - mostly A4 Avants. I live in the Colorado Rockies and these cars have treated me very well in handling, dependability, practicality, and looks. Six years ago I got an S6. It is the same as the other cars I've owned but looks way cooler with the wide stance and is VERY fast! Merging and passing are no problem. I drove it up to Washington State and it performed beautifully. It is very comfortable on long trips with the great suspension, heated seats, and other fancy details."
"Best car I've ever owned..."
"I'm the original owner of a 2002 Audi S6 Avant. After nearly 13 years, I still love this car! It's been tremendously reliable. It's good looking still. But most of all, it is a blast to drive! My wife says it's "too fast" and I should sell the car. That's not happening...."
"S6 - Wolf in sheep's clothing"
"Don't let the look of a wagon fool you. I've owned 3 "S" models from Audi, all are a blast to drive. The S6 Avant (wagon) is a great car, rates about 350HP. It is 'scary' fast and handles like or better than most sports cars. I owned a Porsche 911 and this Audi is more fun to drive and has better off the line pick up. The only complaint is lack of a manual shift. It has the sport shift feature but it's not a substitute for a real manual gear box, I never use it. The Bose sound system is great, I had the iPod adapter installed by my Audi dealer and the sound is excellent. If you're looking for good gas mileage, this isn't the car, overall I get about 19 MPG when I drive conservatively, but you will get upper 20 MPG on long highway drives. Drive one and you'll be hooked. The wagon body style lets me throw all my stuff in the back, nice feature for me."
