The 2025 Audi S e-tron GT is an all-electric luxury sports sedan with impressive power and a respectable maximum range of 300 miles. Pricing starts at $126,795.
By now, we all probably know that electric vehicles made by Audi have “e-tron” somewhere in the name. The other initials make the 2025 S e-tron GT even more special. Audi gives the S prefix to vehicles with better-than-usual performance and power. And the GT part denotes a grand tourer.
This low-slung 4-door car is indeed grand. Using the same foundation as the Porsche Taycan, Audi has given the S e-tron GT its own handsome (in our opinion) designs inside and out. The touring aspect is a distinct possibility with luxury appointments, plenty of power, a useful range, and fast charging.
The 2025 S e-tron GT is an evolution from the (non-S) e-tron GT that made its debut for the 2022 model year.
A slight name change is only the start. Last year’s e-tron GT becomes the S e-tron GT, with more power than the 2024 RS e-tron GT (RS is Audi’s highest-performance category), plus an upgraded battery with a better range and a faster charging time than before, revised brakes, and an improved suspension. The thoroughly worked-over 2025 RS e-tron GT Performance model is reviewed separately.
The 2025 Audi S e-tron GT has a starting sticker price of $126,795, with the range-topping S e-tron GT Prestige kicking off at $137,095. But Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Pricing currently suggests paying $2,689 to $2,907 less than MSRP, depending on trim and equipment. These prices are updated weekly.

Anyone happy to spend this kind of money on a luxury electric car might also like to check out the Porsche Taycan GTS, which starts above the Prestige trim (although less powerful Taycan variants command lower prices). The Lucid Air Grand Touring has more power and range, while coming in below the S e-tron GT. The Mercedes-AMG EQE sedan is even less expensive (which is a sentence we may not have written before). The Tesla Model S All-Wheel Drive begins below the $80,000 mark, but isn’t as luxurious as this Audi.
Before buying a new S e-tron GT all-electric luxury sports sedan, check the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price to know how much you should be paying. In terms of resale values, the Model S and Taycan do well, while the e-tron GT has turned in an average performance up until now. Recouping more money when selling a vehicle can mean a bigger down payment and lower monthly payments on the next one.
In the process of going from last year’s e-tron GT to this year’s S e-tron GT, maximum horsepower has increased from an already substantial 523 hp to a fantastic 670. This comes from two electric motors, one turning each axle. Using launch control, the sprint from a standstill to 60 mph happens in a mere 3.3 seconds — more than half a second faster.
By themselves, these numbers look awesome. And they are when you’re experiencing that kind of power and acceleration. In the context of high-end sporty electric cars, though, they’re expected. For example, the Porsche Taycan GTS has 690 hp and hits 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. That’s the same time as the 670-hp Tesla Model S All-Wheel Drive. The Mercedes-AMG EQE, meanwhile, develops 617 hp and needs just 3.2 seconds.
There are plenty of other attributes to Audi’s all-electric luxurious super-sedan. For example, a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension is standard, providing a spectrum between comfort to control all at the touch of a button. Audi fine-tuned this suspension on Germany’s famously demanding Nürburgring. Rear-wheel steering is also available, bringing greater agility and maneuverability.
If the exterior of the 2025 S e-tron GT leads potential buyers into an Audi showroom, chances are the interior is going to seal the deal. At this point, those fantasies of driving a car from an exciting, high-tech future become real life.
Right in front of the driver is a digital instrument cluster. Like the infotainment touchscreen in the center console, “high-resolution” only begins to describe the crispness of the graphics. Naturally, all the materials are super-high quality, and the overall design mixes intelligence with flair.
The standard steering wheel is flat-bottomed and wrapped in a suede-like material used in many racing machines. Audi offers fine Nappa leather as an option, while the standard appointments are animal-free. A head-up display and heated rear seats are standard at the Prestige level. Massaging front seats are on the options list for both trims.
On paper, the 2025 S e-tron GT luxury electric sedan has seating for five. In the real world, the person sitting in the rear center seat had better be short, thin, and stoic. It’s best to call this a 4-seater. Even then, the sleek design of the roof impacts the rear headroom, and the rear legroom is a scant 32.2 inches.
There’s also a small trunk: 9.2 cubic feet. An extra storage space under the hood can take a gym bag or two. Key rivals offer more cargo room.
This Audi is a 4-door car, but it’s long and low, like a supercar. Opinions may differ, but we think the S e-tron GT looks breathtaking, making the Tesla Model S appear like the 13-year-old car it is. A fixed panoramic glass roof is standard, and the top Prestige trim adds variable light control for this roof.
Leatherette/Dinamica upholstery
The days of horrible fake leather are long behind us, especially in luxury marques like Audi. And Dinamica is the company’s special name for its own kind of simulated suede. This combination is standard in both S e-tron GT trims.
Bang & Olufsen audio
Standard even in the most affordable Premium Plus trim, Bang & Olufsen makes some of the clearest and most detailed high-end audio systems.
Dual charging ports
There’s one on each side, making life just a little more convenient.
HD Matrix-design LED headlights with Laserlight
Although matrix-design LED headlights are standard, these provide even greater illumination with a white/blue light, yet will adapt automatically to prevent other drivers from being dazzled. They come with the Prestige trim.
Head-up display
Another Prestige feature. Having vital information projected onto the windshield within the driver’s line of sight is another cool piece of tech.
Sport Seats Pro
These front seats, optional in both trims, have pneumatic adjustment for extra leg support and side bolsters. They also have heating/ventilation and massaging functions.
A new battery with greater capacity than before supplies the energy for the 2025 S e-tron. Maximum range is a claimed 300 miles, 51 miles more than last year.
Although that figure doesn’t look so great against the 480 miles of the Lucid Air Grand Touring or the 402 miles of the Tesla Model S All-Wheel Drive, it still compares extremely well with the Mercedes-AMG EQE’s 220 miles.
Quicker battery replenishments are also possible, going from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes using a DC fast charger. Last year’s 21.5 minutes was hardly the slowest in the class, but we always welcome less hanging-around time. This year, the brake energy regeneration system has also been reworked to be much more efficient. Incidentally, the S e-tron GT is built at a carbon-neutral facility.
Audi’s new-car warranty lasts four years or 50,000 miles, whichever happens first. That’s par for the course among luxury European marques. The battery pack is covered for eight years or 100,000 miles.
The Audi S e-tron GT has yet to be crash-tested by any agencies in the United States. However, the Euro NCAP program gave the closely related Porsche Taycan a maximum 5-star overall score. Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, intersection assistance, and blind-spot monitoring.
We don't have consumer reviews for this vehicle.
The 2025 Audi S e-tron GT is in the bottom 76-100% for Cost to Own among all Luxury Cars.

Yes. The 2025 S e-tron GT can accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in a fleeting 3.3 seconds. Keep in mind, though, that its rivals are similarly swift.
Range, which is the distance covered between starting with a full battery and an urgent need for a recharge, is calculated at 300 miles. That’s 51 miles more than last year’s equivalent, and a respectable distance in this class.
On a DC fast charger, the 2025 S e-tron GT can go from 10% capacity to 80% in 18 minutes, making it one of the fastest-charging electric vehicles around. A 240-volt home setup could achieve a full recharge in about four hours.
A 2025 Audi S e-tron GT should cost between $124,106 and $134,188 according to Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Pricing.
The cheapest 2025 Audi S e-tron GT is the Premium Plus, with a starting sticker price of $126,795 and a Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price of $124,106.
