Positive Review
Very sleek outside and inside. I was a little intimidated by the 3 screens but found them to be easy to figure out. This is my first Audi and I am very impressed with my entire experience so far. The Audi Q8 has great features that many other cars have but Audi has improved them and made them user friendly.
Critical Review
I had a series of Audis from 1984 thru 2004. My affection for the brand changed as a result of the many maladies of an 2004 A8, which was ultimately given back under the Lemon Law. One would think 16 years hence Audi would have excised the electronic demons, but no. My Q8 does many of the things the A8 did, and the dealer is equally ineffective in fixing problems. I keep the climate control on manual because the automatic setting insists on sending air to the defrost as well as the dash; sometimes the backup camera turns on, most of the time I have to do it manually; the adaptive cruise control and electronic nannies are truly awful, and the list goes on. And that's a shame, because the interior is extremely well done, the styling is nice, and it has sufficient power to keep me happy. But this will most definitely be my last Audi

Mechanical issues galore
This is my 3rd Audi and sadly my experience this time has been terrible. I've had an A4, Q5 (3.0t) and now the Q8 Premium Plus Sport. I had my Q5 for 10 years and traded it in when I hit 150k miles. I bought the 2020 Q8 sight unseen from a dealership in Mobile and had them drive it to me due to lack of availability in my area. I had researched the vehicle for months before the purchase. When it arrived, it was beautiful and matched the photos. It wasn't long that I realized how slow the acceleration was from a stop. I am driving in "Dynamic" mode. I have had random issues with the Audi Pre-sense slamming on brakes in intersections and randomly while driving at various times. The alternator went out at 40k miles which left me broke down on the side of the road. Notably, the entire vehicle including steering wheel and transmission stopped working and I lost the ability to steer the car. I could have killed someone without the ability to stop. I didn't have use of my car for more than a month and now, just 3 months later, I am at 47k miles and the engine light just came on. I have had to go to the dealership to top off oil between oil changes at least 3 different times during my ownership. I will be trading this car in sooner than later. I wish I didn't have to write this review based upon the amount that I paid for the car. Ridiculous.

Poor Acceleration; Awful Customer Service
I was so excited to find a 2019 Q8 Certified Pre-Owned at our local Audi dealer. Very quickly I was unhappy with how the car drives. It has a significant lag in the responsiveness when pressing the accelerator from a stop light or stop sign. I asked the dealer to check it out and they couldn't find anything. Fast forward a few months and the alternator has gone out (car less than 3 years old). I've been without my car for 65 days now because the part is backordered. I've asked for Audi Salt Lake City to buy back the car and they have given me a low ball offer. Getting in touch with Audi of America to ask them to make me an offer is a 3-4 hour wait to speak to a person (and once you ask they have 20 business days to reply). Don't bother with this car or this brand! I'm regretting it Big Time.
This car has been Great - We have lots of good expereince with it. It is good in the snow and is very reliable

Not reliable
Bought this car for my wife and over the two years we owned it it was nothing but trouble. We had it in the shop for numerous issues to include the MMI, locking malfunction, and brakes just to name a few. We were loyal Audi customers for the past 12 years but after owning this we have since moved on and will not own another Audi.
The car looks great and has great power and sound. Lots of useful tech. It is big and heavy so it's not meant for twisty bits of road. With 4 wheel steering it's more maneuverable than one might suspect. Thirsty, but not terrible considering the size, weight and power.
Yay it's expensive
Garbage Idiocracy with an engine
Another "look at me" mobile. Unnecessarily expensive trash can people buy for attention and approved from random people on the road they'll never meet. Garbage entitled trashcans.
Blast to drive... great looking car too!
Gas mileage is not great.
I have had 19 Audis since 1973... this is by and far the best car I have ever owned. Plenty of power when needed, awesome safety features. Super comfortable, plenty of room, great drivers car. Can't say enough
