Positive Review
this is a big crossover with plenty of storage space, responsive handling and power. the diesel engine is quiet, clean and provides 26/28 MPG overall. rural driving with speeds around 45 MPH provides 30MPG! I knew two things going in 1)tires wear out around 30K miles, 2) brakes need work around 35K miles. I have 27K miles now and will need new tires by the time I hit 35K miles. however, my brakes are in good condition and should last until 50K plus. maybe it's just the way that I drive. if you need a safe, reliable, quiet, and responsive vehicle with a lot of carrying capability, this is the car for you.
Critical Review
We have owned a lot of what I would consider higher end SUVs (Lexus, BMW X5, Mercedes) over the years so know what this experience is supposed to look like. The 2007 Q7 3.6 Premium we have ranks right up there in terms of driveability, performance, comfort, features. The MMI is the best consolidated interface of any of these vehicles and is really fabulous. No complaints what so ever on how the car drives. However, I have never owned a vehicle with as painful, expensive, and repetitive maintenance experience. It's been in the shop (mostly but not exclusively for electronics issues) at least a dozen times over the past 3 years. Keys don't register, MMI goes dead, car won't register as being in park so the key won't come out of the ignition, driving along and vehicle indicates 'no key in vehicle' 30 minutes after you have left home, etc. The MMI in particular is prone to going out if just a few drops of liquid spill on it. This is $1000 every time it happens and is not covered under warranty. It is happening a lot due to poor design (search the web for details but the MMI is 2 inches in front of the cup holder) so the dealers are pushing back on any repair. If you fight with Audi USA (a pain) they will eventually replace it. There is also no loaner program at Audi and they stock very few parts in the field offices to save money. We've had to go back because they were out of lightbulbs at our local dealer. This means you have to arrange alternative transportion and you're going to be there more than once for almost any problem -- once to diagnose and once to complete the repair. During our three year lease, we will have spent almost $5K in maintenace items and we bought the pre-paid maintenance with our lease. These things chew through brakes/rotors ($1800) and tires ($1400 a set). The car is being driven by a conservative Mom with two kids in tow most of the time so trust me, it's not being driven hard. The service department told us the brakes were a little undersized for the vehicle (although they work very well) so tended to wear very fast -- like 15K miles typically -- and the rotors are replaced everytime the pads are which drives the expense up. Net is we love the car. We hate the Audi sservice experience and cost. Factor at least $2500/year in for maintenance as part of the decision. Front/rear brakes and roters (common at 15K miles) are $1800; tires are $1400 a set every 25K miles. You get the idea. Lots of stuff that wears fast and we're just in the first three years which you would think would be pretty trouble free!

Luxurious, reliable, and sexy
Gas type and consumption
Under $20k and in excellent condition for being almost 10 years old. I’ve never had a luxury car and I am very happy with my purchase. I did a lot of research before purchasing. In addition to increased gas consumption and premium only, it will need close attention to oil levels and servicing, which will cost more than it did for my Hondas, but I’m no longer a student and can plan accordingly. I recommend having inspection by authorized dealer of the make you plan to purchase.
There is no recalls on this vehicle first y’all say 3 recalls when I check for recalls it says excellent and there is no recalls and the recalls it did have the Audi dealership took care of them there are no recalls
After checking on your site my vehicle has no recalls and still not letting me get a cash offer let me know
Nice interior.
Rusts very easily.
Not exactly what I wanted... Yet it is comfortable and is nice, it's still a big barge to drive around and not really impressive for 2022. This car rusts very easily also...
Love it. Comfy. Large. Not a van but great size. Sleek. Reliable. Somewhat expensive but it's an audi
Great all-rounder, AWD, fuel economy, 6k+ towing

Fantastic all around vehicle. Not the most luxurious, not the fastest, not most reliable, but excellent blend of everything, depending on package level, off course, expectations, etc. This is the vehicle that family liked from day one and we made some great memories on several cross country trips. The engine is very capable and very economical in relative terms, transmission is actually Japanese Aisin 8-Spd (Toyota) and build quality is rather high. The Q7 looks and feels very fresh even after 140 thousand miles and 7 years of service. Interior is of great quality, no major mechanical breakdowns. NOX sensor has been a major reason for visiting service, other than that there's been work done under emissions update (2015 Dieselgate scandal). Given that diesels are becoming extinct these days, we'll likely miss our Q7 TDI once we replace it with an all electric SUV in the future (not that we are rushing it, at all).
Bought a 2015 Q7 With 30k miles. Now have 75k miles without a single problem. Highly recommend the Q7 and Audi’s. This is my 3rd Audi since 2008.
Comfortable interior. Easy access to controls.
No remote gas door opener. The door freezes shut.
Excessive oil consumption. After being told this model burned oil faster than other models, Audi finally admitted that the pistons in the Q7 were too short and had to be replaced. This was a $10,000 repair. If i didn’t have an extended warranty the car would have lost a vast majority of its value in trade. Shortly after this repair, my dashboard lit up with failure codes like a Christmas tree. Turned out to be a bad sensor, but it had to go back in 3 times, once within a block of driving it out from the dealer after it was supposedly fixed.
