Positive Review

"Best Sporty Family Car"

I leased this car after the lease on my Audi S5 ran out. I was concerned about going from a 8 cylinder to an 6 cylinder and even considered waiting for the S7. I'm glad I didn't. The supercharged V-6 has great take off with its low end torque. The car feels lighter than it is. The cabin tech is great and while the Bang & Olufsen Stereo isn't worth what they charge, I'm glad I got it. If you're looking for a stylish family car that provides style, practicality and performance this is a great vehicle. I considered the BMW 535, MB E550. There isn't a wrong decision in the bunch but I like the style and tech in the A7 and it is much less common than the other vehicles. My kids love the in car WiFi and can stream videos or go online with iPads. I've had Porsche 911's, BMW M3s and I don't miss them.

Critical Review

"Over Priced - look some where else"

Brand new with 95 miles on it and it broke less than 24 hours after driving it off the lot. O2 sensor as bad and an actuator (whatever that is) needed to be moved. Start-stop is very inconsistent. Same with the opening the doors. Normally one only needs to put your thumb on this button and pull the door handle and the door opens - normally. But sometimes it just dosn't open. Who knows why - Audi can't seem to figure it out. Cruise control is very poor (jumpy, not smooth). Climate control also acts like Jeckel and Hyde. Overall the car is worth about $40,000. The only thing going for it is that it looks great. Needs an economy mode as the computer often chooses a gear lower than I would if I had a manual. Handling is just OK for the price. Save your money and buy something else.

Exceptional Vehicle

I didn't love the styling when it was first introduced in 2012, but it grew on me over time and I slowly became obsessed. Then I kept reading all the great reviews and knew I had to buy one. It took months, but I finally found a pre-owned A7 with pretty much the exact options I was looking for with less than 30k miles on it. I've owned a lot of cars in my life, but everyone that's driven the A7 agrees it's the best driving and looking car I've ever owned. It's so quiet, powerful, smooth, spacious, comfortable, fuel efficient, reliable, practical, and safe. I also love the uniqueness - you don't see a lot of them on the road. I wish more manufacturers would adopt the rear hatch - it's so much more practical than a trunk and saves me from having to own an SUV. It did need some costly repairs shortly after my purchase (more due to its age), but thankfully those were all covered by the extended warranty. I literally look back at it every time I park somewhere and find excuses to drive it - I love this car!

A7 Also has upgraded custom front seat package.

This car is like new. Runs and rides beautifully. It received very minor bumper scratches from a rear-ender at a stoplight. I was stopped and waiting for a red light when the car behind me rolled into my bumper at about 4 or 5 miles per hour. I brought the car to my Audi dealer for like-new bumper repair.

My favorite car of all time. Looks, performance, comfort, practical (show me another car that looks this cool that you can get a 9’ Christmas tree inside!). A pleasure to drive. Like it so much, I have 2!

Exactly as advertised
Pros

Sporty, fun, very comfortable, power not thirsty

Cons

Bit tippy, Bose is OK, expensive, some creaks

This vehicle is exactly what you've been lead to believe it will be. An extremely confident cruiser at all speeds, comfortable to drive very fast, and very unique styling. The interior is of the highest quality and everything is ergonomically correct. Overall, a great used car buy, though a bit pricey for what you get new. Maintenance is expensive, but you know what you're in for with the Germans. Of particular note, this ~340hp supercharged V6 is the best engine I've owned in a vehicle. Driving normally, you spend almost the entire time between 1,000 and 3,000 rpms with zero lag. Gas mileage benefits from this, and on the highway it's easy to get mid-thirties. A great automobile.

Beautiful, reliable, sporty, and fun
Pros

Excellent mileage (HWY 38 MPG) & range 650 miles

Cons

Spoiler stays up/lifted in cold weather

I purchased this unicorn 2014 Audi A7 3.0 TDI brand new in NOV 13. This car has been driven on the German Autobahn, the Italian Autostrade, and American highways. It turns heads everywhere it travels. Pros: -Excellent fuel mileage (HWY 38 MPG) and range (650 miles) even after the recall -Very comfortable -Timeless styling -No reliability issues -I believe the KBB value is understated as these TDI vehicles are in demand -Incredible acceleration with the 405 lbs of torque -The AWD system allows for excellent control in any weather -Large amount of aluminum used in the body deters oxidation/rust -The expansive cargo area (with seats down) allows for transportation of bikes or other large items -Won't let you lock your keys in the car Cons: -In cold weather the spoiler tends to remain elevated. This does not happen during the warmer weather. It finally goes down once the weather warms above freezing -The navigation system once had Google Earth. It appears to require an expensive update for that to work again -Bluetooth phone sound could be better

Still a beauty after 9 years
Pros

I still get compliments on the car

Cons

Devaluation

Best car I have ever owned. Changed the brakes at 80,000. Changed the tires at 85,000. According to computer I have achieved over 40 mpg on highway. Except for recalls all other parts are original. I would buy another one, but now that I am retired they are a bit above what I want to spend on a car. By the way my A7 has only been serviced by the Audi dealer.
