Positive Review

"Best car ever and super on long trips."

I bought this car used at 2 year point and 40,000 miles. I lived in NY until recently and drove it in all types of weather. It plows through anything especially with good snows on it. I have had only normal maintenance on the car until just recently but it is now 8 years old and 150000 miles. It needs new valve cover gaskets, still doesn't burn a drop. Needs new rear brakes, gee, only got 100000 miles on them. Rear tail light assemblies get moisture in them and are prone to failure but still going. MY ONLY concern now is how long to keep it before it does start showing its age and goes down the slippery slope of maintenance costs. I love this car, most comfortable highway driver I have ever owned. I often drive 10 plus hours a day and never get a sore back etc.

"By far the WORST & LEAST reliable car"

Really wish I would have stuck with Mercedes, Lexus, or Land Rover. Yes I'm saying it..... I have had 3 Range Rovers and NEVER had issues with any of them!!!! This is the 1st used car I've bought and what a nightmare. Thought I was safe going to an actual Audi dealer, but nope. Before the temp tag was expired the problems began..... 1) Roof Leaking...Not the moon roof, the actual roof. 2) Month 3 coolant light randomly comes on and off, had sensor replaced 3) coolant light again, coolant tank replaced. 4) Oil Leak 5) CV Joints 6) Driveshaft 7) Valve Gaskets 8) Washer Fluid Tank. Now my check engine light has been on for like 5 months, and the Audi dealer cant seem to figure out what the problem is. I have multiple engine cylinder misfires now. Every time I try to get this thing fixed and spend a few grand at Audi, when I pick it up they inform me that what I just had done didn't fix the problem but doing "abc" should with a price tag of a few more grand...... I have had this car for about 2 years. It had 70k miles on it when I bought it. Total time since purchase I haven't had some kind of warning light, sensor, etc.. on, TWO MONTHS!!!! I have pumped over $7k into it so far in just under 2 years. So much for the CERTIFIED AUDI DEALERS how ever many point inspection. Oh and the "warranty" they give ya to 100K miles.... USELESS!!!! I will never own, nor will I recommend Audi to ANYONE!!! I expected so much more. But kudos to LAND ROVER ('99 '03'05 RANGE ROVER); JAGUAR('07 XK); LEXUS ('02 SC/LX '04 LX '08 LS/LX); INFINITI ('04 M45); MERCEDES ('99 SL500 '05 CLK500); & BMW ('03 X5 4.4). Out of the cars listed above, the ones I had NO, NONE, ZERO problems with and in my opinion are superb .... LEXUS / LAND ROVER / JAGUAR. While the other are great. But AUDI.... NEVER AGAIN!! NEVER!!

Audi A6 2009

Great reliable car , bought used - had it for 8 year , only minor maintenance work needed. (Brakes etc) . Need premium but get 28 miles on highway. The AWD system is great , never got stuck in snow. Important; do not bring for repair to Audi dealership but to local repair shop. 1/3 of price of service @ non-Audi mechanic.

Pros

Performance - performance- performance. When you step in the gas it will go. It has handles!

Cons

She’s high class! Only recommended high grade (octane) gasoline. Performance high speed rating tires as well.,

Do it except to compare the experience of driving an Audi to any other vehicles. The comfort and performance of this car are undeniably superior to those other vehicles. The power to pass at will. The 6 speaker sound system will not distorted at maximum levels If you are afraid the of regular oil changes and recommend maintenance this is not the car for you. Regular maintenance and oil changes must be performed on the cars or expect a very expensive repair bill from an import mechanic, ACME auto repair shops do not work on these. It must go to a experienced import car mechanic, if you buy one enjoy!

Awesome ride!

I bought a 2010 Audi A6 3.0 Supercharged V6 Premium Edition. Right off with my 1st test drive in the car I fell in love with the car. Now that I've had the car for a little over a year, I've made only a few changes to the car and now I'm even more overwhelmed withe car. 1st thing I did was put in a cold air intake and slotted breaks. This helped performance considerably. Then I put I n stage 3 tuning chip and a throttle controller. That was the total game changer! Withe the throttle controller, out on highway trips I can granny down the power of the car and with that I was able to get 585 miles out of a 20 gallon tank full! Totally unheard of in an Audi. And then the out side of the throttle controller is when maxed out in sport mode, the power is absolutely nuts! I totally love the handling and control with driving this car! The handing in the snow is absolutely phenomenal! Totally blown away with this car! Absolutely love it!

God help me

What could’ve gone wrong has gone wrong in the tune of a steering column and steering module replacement, which Audi wants close to $8000. I’m ready to take this car and drive it off a cliff.

235,000 miles and going strong
Cons

Premium fuel and 7 quarts of synthetic oil.

Phenomenally reliable car with very little upkeep. I bought it 4 years ago with 172,000 miles. Today, it has 235,000 miles. The only issue is leaky valve cover gaskets. But the expensive stuff is SOLID.

Functional

The minivan is what you would expect, reliable, with enough space to drive the entire family around and not worry about having issues.
