Positive Review
This has been a terrific car! I've put 60K miles in 4 years and it has been flawless. It's comfortable for long road trips, gets over 20 MPG on a long cruise. The ride is firm but not harsh, interior is quiet enough to have a normal conversation at freeway speeds. Reliability has been almost perfect; the only repair issue was for a loose screw on a rear parking brake caliper. If you appreciate high-end engineering, performance and attention-to-detail construction, the Vantage is a great pick even for a daily-driver.

Styling. Engine. Build Quality
The Vantage V12 S Beautiful, elegant, naturally aspirated V12, hand made in the UK. Words cannot describe the feelings. The build quality and love that went into its design can be felt. Flawless.
Great car if you have unlimited funds and you don't mind devaluation the size of the Empire State building.
Great car to drive
no cons
Beautiful color perfect condition and very rare Vantage S Roadster with a 6 speed manual transmission. Original owner car very pampered car, freeway miles between Los Angeles and Palm Desert Ca.
Fun to drive, very reliable, timeless styling
Maint cost is in line with the original car cost
Driving the V8 Vantage is an exhilarating experience. From the start of the engine, listening to the beautiful exhaust tones to driving down country roads, the car is just plain cool and fun. I think the styling will still be attractive 100 years from now. I have the manual transmission roadster or convertible, which adds to the driving experience.
Fast and loud.
NONE
Having owned hundreds of cars in my lifetime I finally bought an Aston Martin Vantage. No other car pushes the buttons that this car does, both visually and mechanically. I highly recommend these cars but beware of jealous stares.
Overall ownership experience, brand exclusivity
Need to buy well....ownership history
Have driven my 2014 manual 4.7 roadster 36K miles since purchase new from dealer stock. A beautiful car in the tradition of classic E-type Jaguar or 1960's Italian exotics. Performance is balanced, that is the speed, braking, steering, and suspension are very well matched. Quicker than a Countach and 289 Cobra, but easily bested by Nissan GTR. No one owns an Aston for the numbers.....countless unremarkable cars can be hopped up for 0-60 bragging rights. My experience has been that the Vantage is a special car from a build quality and drivability POV. Comfortable for highway miles and fun on back road curves. It's fairly straightforward mechanically for a modern car, and not intimidating to take a wrench to; just be very careful about the jacking points. Many consumables are available as non-Aston parts, e.g. cabin filter same as Mazda RX8. Buy a OBD scanner and have a good independent mechanic for anything too complex. Tremendous on-line ownership support from sixspeed and pistonheads. To be sure some things such as tail lights are very expensive, but overall these cars are not fragile and are meant to be driven and enjoyed!
Look at it, exhaust, comfortable
Poor mpg, unreliable, no dealer network, halfbaked
This is by far the best car to drive at 25 and arrive in. Stunning in its curb appeal and classic Aston styling its a head turner. That said it’s not a very good car at anything but looking good. It handles, just not well; it’s not bad to work on except there are no parts or dealers, it’s had an amazing engine but is painfully slow vs expectations, and when I breaks it can break you. I bought mine 2x The first year and yet I’m glad I own it. It defies logic or reason. It’s resale is dismal and few things work as intended or were given much of any thought but when your driving it on the right day in the right setting it’s simply sublime. Rev out the 4.7, drop the top, listen to the defending sound system, and get used to pictures at intersections. I’ve had exotics and people largely hate them. Keyed Ferrari and light kicked in on a Lamborghini. Teens to grandparents all ask and compliment the car. But used and perception is reality
Head-turner looks and performance, reliable.
Parts and service are expensive.
