Positive Review
The 2017 Alfa Romeo Guilia is the real deal and a contender other cars in its class better take notice of. The styling is superb with a sexy front fascia and rear looks. The interior and cabin is laid out well, spacious and its infotainment system is amazing. This car corners with the best of them and with 280hp with 300 plus pounds feet of torque, the guilia is the best in its class. Highway and daily road travel can be done with ease. The best thing about the Guilia is the DNA mode the vehicle has which, changes the driving dynamics. It can give you and economy fuel efficient type of ride or a sporty hard corning jounrey while behind the steering wheel. Guilia has arrived and it isnt going anywhere any time soon.
Critical Review
Yes, the car is fast and handles really well.....when it runs. I have had my car less than a year and it has been in the shop three different times, costing a little over $5k in repairs so far. There are three lights on the dash now that need to be serviced, but I am done pouring money into it. Don't buy this car unless you have money to throw away.

Safe, quick, great handling, long distance driver, good track-day performer.
Sports car ride, if you don't like firm.
I bought "Lella," my Alfa Romeo Giulia QV in September 2020. I had waited 17 years for another Alfa, after losing one to a driver who rear-ended me at a stop light. The car runs great, handles extremely well, and stops on a proverbial dime. (It has carbon ceramic brakes, for track work.) Basically, it is the epitome of an actively safe car, that allows full driver control, and rewards good driving skills. It's a great car for long trips. If you don't love to drive, go buy a Toyota. If you love driving, this is the best 4-door sports sedan you can buy. Too bad they're being replaced with EV's.
Styling, gas mileage, handling, comparative rarity
Smaller dealer network, luxury car depreciation
The waves, the stares…and the inevitable Toyota owner that fears for your reliability. Solid car, wonderfully designed. Zero problems other than the awful Pirelli run flats
Aesthetics, rides soft, extremely efficient
Quirky, material quality, limited dealerships
I've owned this car 5 years. I honestly expected to keep it for 2 years and move on to something else, but I can't seem to part with it. The ownership experience hasn't always been flawless, but every problem I experienced was self-repairable, cheap, and it has never spent a single day at the dealership for any reason. The car is quirky at times, no doubt, but it never left me stranded or broken down anywhere. I consider myself mechanically inclined and I know these cars inside and out. I am able to get through some quirks as a result, but for people who don't turn wrenches and can't get through minor troubleshooting, I can't recommend this car as a solid daily driver.
Q4 is easily best handling car in its class
There will be mechanical issues
Something about the Alfa Giulia cannot be described by typed words… sure it has its quirks, but it never ever fails to impress even the most stalwart car snobs. Gorgeous car and Porsche-like handling for an absolute steal of a price. Would recommend it to any car enthusiast.
Beautiful car, very fast, great handling

This is one of the fastest sedans available and one of the few cars that is both a monster on the race track and is a great comfortable daily driver. Maintenance requirements are higher than a typical sedan but as long as you keep up with the recommended service, it is very reliable.
Fun to drive
Somewhat impractical for a family sedan
I love this car, fun to drive sporty and good looking! It takes corners flat with no sway and has amazing fast pick up in dynamic mode. Only minor issues with the emissions system which I will admit was a little frustrating, however was fixed quickly by the dealer. We drove our Guilia from Oregon to Montana Yellowstone without a glitch, so fun!
Fast and handles very well
A piece of garbage when it comes to reliability

I’ve had my Guilia for almost 3 years. It’s a great car. No issues at all. It’s fun and powerful and beautiful inside and out. Drives great in all weather with AWD.
