Positive Review
I love my car and getting ready to buy the TLX. I purchased the car with 30,000 miles on it and now 300,000 plus miles later it is still a great car.
Critical Review
Everything on car is great EXCEPT their dash cracking and there is no recall. We had a Toyota 2004 solars, the factory had a recall and fix our solars 12 years after we got it. Acura if your listening, Do better on your dashes.

I’m just want to know how much that runs and start with remonte control power doors locks new stereo advanced redio system
Good car runs good shifts good no check engine light will pass both inspections fun to drive fun to drive decent gas mikeage
For a 4 door sedan this car handles very well.
It's back seats are not made for adults only kids
This is a car that is really fun to drive and for its size its pretty conformable. It's sound system is amazing with 8 speakers, and it's engine and transmission are very reliable as well. There's only a few issues you may want to take in consideration first its nav system is outdated not for how it functions but its map had its last update in 2015 and fixing certain parts if they fail can be costly. Overall though this is an amazing car, if you have the chance to pick one up I would because these cars will go up in value because of their styling and performance.
fun to drive, reliable, easy to maintain
This was my dad's car prior to mine and I had the car the past four-ish years. The only reason I no longer have this car is because I got in an accident and my car was a total loss (airbags went off and there were no injuries). I loved driving this car, it got me through my last year of high school and all of college with no notable issues besides a minor oil leak. I highly suggest this car to others, especially those who are younger (high school/college age) since it is so reliable, easy, and fun to drive. I'll certainly miss driving my 2004 Acura TL!
Nice styling
Parts & mechanical failures with no fixes
Buyer be warned! My 2005 TL has always been parked in the garage, well taken care of. At 132,000 miles there are multiple fluid leaks the dealer says will cost over $10,000 to repair. Recently the front axle broke for no apparent reason costing me over $700. The hands-free electronics went out that controls bluetooth and other things. It would get very warm in the overhead console. They recommendation was to disconnect it. It has been discontinued with no replacement. The navigation powers the clock & calendar. It stopped working some time ago. Dealer has heard of this affecting other models and years. Opening a case with Acura has zero results. The standard answer is that they are looking at it. In the last call I made today on 11/11/2021, I asked to speak with someone above level 1 support. No help here, claiming she didn't know. Dealer knows of this problem and agrees with me quality is not what Honda was back in the late 1970-1980 range. I had written a letter to Honda. They didn't have the courtesy of acknowledging receipt. Save yourself the grief and keep away, at least for this model and year.
Cheap to fix leather reliable good looks
The leather is easy to rip and the Bluetooth
The car is fast and reliable and the only small problems I noticed were the leather easy to rip and the Bluetooth breaks but luckily there both cheap fixes
V6 has great power
DASH CRACKING

Sleek, powerful, reliable, comfortable, spacious
Bluetooth
I bought this car in 2017 with 184K miles on it. It's now 2021 and with 233K miles on it, I can say this car does not disappoint. I bought it because I fell in love with the sleek design. I kept it because it kept running. I also bought it because KBB rated it one of the best sedans, so I'm paying it forward. Despite being 10 years old, it offered much greater curb appeal than the curvy and rounded exterior of newer cars that flooded the market in the mid-2010's. The side skirts and little indents with LED lights at the ends is really polished and sports car like. The leather seats hug you. The ride is a little stiff but has a lot of power that distracts you from it. I had a big scare not long after I first bought it with the radiator breaking and mixing transmission fluid with coolant. According to the dealership it was a freak accident. Since that fix it's been relatively hassle free with routine maintenance. I don't know how many other cars you could get away with that at 184K miles. I'm looking at buying an SUV for extra towing but I'm having a tough time letting this one go.
