Bought on a 3-year lease, intending to trade it in as soon as the MDX came out. 16 years later, still have it. Incredibly comfortable, roomy, easy to drive. Although it's big, visibility is better than any car I've ever driven. Tons of passenger space, lots of backseat leg room (even with the front seats all the way back. Huge sunroof (love the light!). Above all, a pleasure to drive. Extra bonus - incredibly reliable, super cheap to maintain. Other than routine maintenance, only two major repairs (about $1,000 each) in 16 years. Even in the northeast, NO rust! Will drive this awesome truck till it stops.

don't waste your time on purchacing one of these. i have had it a little over a year and i have shelled out over 6 grand to get everything fixed. the parts are EXPENSIVE.

Roomy, well-appointed, reliable, cheap to maintain

Seat adjustment , steering column , giant sun roof
Gas milage not the best.
As long as you keep the oil changed and everything current you shouldn;t have much problems. I love that it goes and goes with little maintenance. Best vehicle ever!!!!

handling was weak, and soft
when i had this car it was so easy to work on, and some of the ideas they had were great quality, and truck had alot of heavy duty built in.cant hurt it, cant get stuck and i tried. sunroof is huge,and i still found storage compartments after years of owning hidden all over,the only thing i dint like was suspension was soft and would lean in corners to much so dont take them fast. but overall was great and i should not of sold it.
maint. and repair is so easy with this car, i am a mechanic by trade, after going thru car very happy with quality and workmanship. all kinds of storage. huge instead.

We paid $3500 cash for ours 6 years ago. It is a '96 model and has 200,000 miles. This thing won't quit! We have had virtually NO issues with this vehicle. The ones we had were minor or our own fault. When we got it we thought as little as we're paying we could try to get through one year with it to get by. Six years later we still love it and it is still going strong. Probably the best vehicle we will ever own!
